I couldn't believe how good they sound and how much like an electric they made my FS800 feel. I was expecting a loss of volume and projection. But was surprised that they sounded better than stock strings. Unless they break too often or do not maintain tuning stability, I don't know why I would want to use any other strings from here on.

I own 12 guitars (and counting) at the moment, 5 of which are acoustic. I have tried countless string brands and guages over 37 years. This pack has actually been in my string drawer for about a year and I just got to them. They are now my go to strings for my Takamine and Ibanez acoustics due to the un-wound G string which gives me the versatility to play acoustic solos on them, not to mention how bright they sound. So I give these strings 5 stars and highly recommend to anyone, especially if you want the ability to effortlessly bend notes on acoustic guitars.

If you play guitar, you know that strings are a very personal choice. Over the years I've used many strings and have ended up loving D'Addario strings. I use 12s or 11s since they fit my finger picking style.

These strings have exceeded my expectations. I bought a set and put them on an inexpensive, lightly built guitar that was designed for fingerstyle playing (Bedell OM). I expected them to sound "tinny" and have poor tone. I was wrong on both accounts. I liked them enough to buy another set which I put on an old Taylor rosewood dreadnaught. Again I was surprised by the clarity and tone. I am 72 and starting to get arthritis in my hands so the light tension is what I wanted to try. I play pretty much always play fingerstyle. I like the unwound G string. In my opinion it sounds cleaner and has less finger noise than a wound string. I was worried about the action but found on both guitars that I can keep things the same (3/32" Bass - 2/32" treble @ 12th fret) even in drop D tuning. They do require a lighter touch but you can still dig in pretty good once you get the feel for them. I thank D'Addario for coming up with this set, they will allow me to play longer with less hand pain afterward. I'm parking my Elixer lights for now and have ordered three more sets of these.

It took me a while and a few different sets of strings to find the perfect match for my playing style, but the search was absolutely worth it. These strings provide exactly what I was looking for—an ideal balance of sound quality and comfort. I primarily fingerpick and play on the softer side without a pick, and many other strings I tried were either too stiff, too bright, or lacked the warm, resonant tone I wanted. These light-gauge strings, however, hit the sweet spot. They’re soft enough on the fingers to make long sessions comfortable, yet they still deliver a full, rich tone without losing clarity. The responsiveness is excellent, and they produce a smooth, balanced sound whether I’m playing delicate melodies or intricate fingerpicking patterns. If you’re someone who values a warm, articulate sound and wants a set of strings that feels effortless to play, I highly recommend these. They’ve completely elevated my playing experience, and I’ll be sticking with them from now on! Pros: ✔️ Perfect for fingerpicking and softer playing styles ✔️ Great balance of comfort and sound quality ✔️ Light gauge makes them easy on the fingers ✔️ Rich, warm tone with great clarity Cons: ❌ None so far—just wish I had found them sooner!

I've used D'Addario strings for more than 30 years, and they are my preferred string brand. I'm pleased that the plastic envelopes the strings are sealed in now come with a zip-lock style closure. Great strings.

I've been using these strings on all my acoustics for years. Although I've tried a few other brands along the way I always come back to D'Addario because of their quality, reliability, feel, and price.

Great Strings! I've been using these for over 4 years and are the best reso strings IMHO. Plus, if they're good enough for Jerry then they're good enough for me. Bright, loud and long lasting and much warmer than anything else I've tried. This is as much based on my taste, preference and instrument but it gets me sounding more like Jerry Douglas than any other strings

Anima esagonale in acciaio → Intonazione precisa e stabilità. 🛠️ Qualità Costruttiva Fatte negli USA con controllo qualità rigoroso. Avvolgimento preciso → Nessun ronzio o difetto. 🎸 A Chi Sono Adatte? ✔️ Principianti → Facilità di esecuzione grazie al calibro leggero. ✔️ Professionisti → Tono bilanciato per registrazioni e live. ✔️ Chi cerca durata → Ottime per chi non vuole cambiare corde spesso.
