Wow… these strings really bring out the tone you are searching for. Extended durability, break in quickly and stay in tune. Maybe, had these been available decades ago, Hendrix, Clapton, and other guitar gods from that time period could have made something of their careers! The different colored ball ends make identifying each string unmistakeable and will give your tech a chubby when he marvels in the ease of setting up your guitar pre-show or replacing a mid solo broken string.

I love these strings. They have been very consistent. I can only tell they need to be changed when they no longer stay in tune and that takes a bit depending on play time. I use the 12-54 set on almost every electric I have. The relatively “slinky” 0.20 3rd string is a perfect compromise. They are a bit bright but I’m a firm believer in optimizing towards brightness because bringing that back in with eq will also add noise. And there are those under utilized volume and tone knobs that can tame things up as needed.

I tried this on an LP with BB Pro's. It was awful. They had a wierd tone that I hated. Very mushy and boomy in the low end and low mids. It had something funky in the mids as well. Yuk! Then I put them on another LP with a Wolftone pickup. The Wolftone is a lower output pickup and clearer than the BB Pro's. On that guitar they were good if not really good in many ways. They have an amazingly increased output compared to regular strings. On my old school amps that helps drive the front end for increased distortion. Nice. I played them quite a bit on _this_ guitar as to make a more accurate judgment. I had them on the other LP a week and I couldn't wait to take them off! With the Wolftones they have _some_ advantage but I'm still not thrilled with the tone. Honor served for a guitar with low output pick ups, so I upgraded to 4 stars. They Did Not stay in tune any better than normal strings on either guitar.

I've been using Ernie Ball strings for YEARS. I noticed some corrosion with the last few sets which had me looking for something new. Since the guys at Glaser's swear by Daddario I thought I'd give them a try. I am blown away by the tone, clarity, and feel of these strings. Nearly twice the cost of my old strings, but definitely worth it.

I am new to playing the guitar, but I have changed bass strings for many years. Changing guitar strings is an interesting adventure. This product offers a clever solution to that task. The strings are packaged in pairs, with the E and A strings, D and G strings, and B and E strings grouped together and color coded. This way, you don’t have to untangle all six strings from each other. I love that idea! In addition to the brilliant packaging, these strings sound amazing.

these 8-38 NYXL strings are my favorite. They are durable and easy to play and feel good. The only downside is the price.
