These work really well. They are perfect single size and at a good price point. Kids will enjoy helping they are so easy to use. Super easy to clean too. When i made a larger batch in my Kitchenaid ice cream maker, we stored the extra in these bowls. When we took them out to eat, they stayed cold for an hour or more!!

I've used this every day this week for making frozen yogurt at the end of the day. I blend fruit (fresh), Greek yogurt, a small amount of coconut milk, almond extract, and sugar in my blender then put it in the fridge to chill till the evening. In the evening, I put together the paddle and motor and plastic bowl cover with chute. I then get out the mug that's been in there for 2 days (I alternate using the 2 mugs) and pour the fruit and yogurt mixture in. I start the paddle going and let it sit on the counter for up to 10 min. Then I use a silicone cake frosting spatula to scoop the soft serve style froyo into a container and then pop it in the freezer for about 5-10 min then eat some. I generally make about 2 cups worth in one mug and it's a little softer than I'd like so freezer it goes. When it comes out of the freezer it's perfect. Really worth it. May not be fancy but much healthier and honestly delicious. I add sprinkles or chocolate chips and whipped cream if I am feeling fancy.

You really don’t need 2 cups, or so I realized. It takes roughly 15-20 minutes to make anything in one cup, but then the other person has ate waiting for the second cup to churn. Fun, easy to use, but doesn’t make much. If you need to make enough for more than 2 people, buy a legit ice cream maker.

I bought this to make healthy low cal/carb frozen yogurt, although it took me a few try’s to get it right. 3/4cp Greek yogurt, tbl of 1/2 & 1/2 a few teaspoons of stevia and what ever flavoring I want (I use no calorie coffee syrups). I blend in a bullet blender, then taste and adjust sugar/flavor, consistency should allow it to flow (add more 1/2 & 1/2 if needed). I keep my bases in a chest freezer which is way colder than a fridge/freezer. Make sure to assemble and turn on the ice cream maker before adding the yogurt mix or it will bind. I add nuts, dark chocolate chunks or fruit bits right away to let them incorporate evenly. Once its to the consistency I like, I quickly transfer the contents to a regular bowl, otherwise it starts crystallizing. The serving size is just right for me, the consistency and flavor are great. And I can make whatever flavor I want rather than having to take what’s in the freezer.

This thing is not great. You definitely have to freeze the mix that comes out after 20 min of mixing in this mug. It is liquid. Nowhere near frozen ice cream. I think you could get the same end results from freezing the mix and occasionally mixing it as it freezes. I love the recipe though. Great vanilla ice cream

Play Video I read the reviews and a lot of them said that it did not freeze their ice cream I can honestly say I'm glad I didn't listen to those reviews it did a great job Don't listen to the reviews that say that it doesn't freeze the liquid it does I put mine in for 24 hours and I love it it works perfect now I suggest you to get the one that has the two since it has to be in the freezer for so long that way you'll have an extra one just in case you need it All in all I can say I'm satisfied with my purchase

This little ice cream maker is better than I expected it to be! I wanted a Creami but couldn’t justify the price. I have been making Creami recipes in this machine and they’ve turned out great! What’s nice is that the cup just has to be frozen, you dump in your ingredients, run it for 20 minutes, and the ice cream is done! No need to freeze the ingredients overnight like with the Creami.

I really don’t know how people got theirs so creamy, I was expecting it to turn out the same when I tried. But sadly it was like a slushy consistency. I had froze the mugs for 24hrs and before using checked that they were nice and frozen. Left it mixing for about 20 minutes and notice no progress, only tiny chunks of ice. Since I had two mugs I switched it out for the other one I had left in freezer to see if it would make a difference. And after another 20 minutes it was like a mild slushy consistency. I’m a little disappointed but I guess that’s what you get for the price… I’m not really sure if it’s worth it. I put back the mug in the freezer with the mixture and I’ll leave it in for another 15 minutes to see if that makes a difference. But after all the hassles, I don’t think it’s worth. Most likely I will return it :(, kinda sad it didn’t work UPDATE: After reading some reviews, I found the best hack to get this thing to work. 1) don’t fill up the bowl, only use about 1/2 cup of liquid, 2) before mixing stick the pour the mixture in the mug and let it sit in the freezer for about 5-8 minutes, 3) mix for about 15 minutes, 4) stick in the freezer again for 5-8 minutes, 5) mix for a few more minutes. When I did it this way it came out super creamy. It’s pretty tedious but you can’t complain for the price.

I caved and was influenced by a TikTok to try this out. Like that person, I wanted a ninja creamy but just couldn’t afford it. Is this a perfect dupe for the creamy? No. Does it still work as a kinda dupe. Yes! Be aware that the consistency will be more soft-serve, but when you’re craving ice cream, it does the trick! You can pretty much use anything (milk, milk alternatives, yogurt) and get a nice cool desert. If using liquid, I do recommend putting your mix in the freezer for a bit to get it super cold - the results are better. Plus the cold bowls work great for those of us who hate it when their ice cream melts. Double score!

I read and read the reviews, bouncing back and forth from DO NOT buy to great! Unfortunately this item does not work. I tried several different ways, but each time it is liquify. When I placed it in the freezer to thicken, it is then too hard to take out of the metal lined bowls, which are now all scratched up from spoon action.
