I've used borescopes in the past for many reasons, like inspecting a rifle barrel, checking out a sinkhole, and finding keys they fell behind furniture. They were a huge help, but the one thing they lacked was the ability to steer the head of the scope body. This borescope fixes that problem! You have full control of the head in two dimensions. Using the knob on the side of the camera body, you can move the head of the scope nearly 360 degrees in line with the borescope. You control rotation by turning the camera, which in turn rotates the borescope around the line of the borescope. Even better, there are TWO cameras in the head of the scope. One sees through the end of the scope, the other sees through the SIDE of the borescope. You can use either, or impressively both at the same time to get a better understanding of what you're viewing. I LIKE IT! The cameras record in crisp, clear 1080P. You can take still pictures OR movies. An onboard 32 gig SD card can be used to transfer images to your computer or phone. You can also use a USB-C cable to connect the borescope to your computer - your choice. Both work well. The screen measures 4 1/2 inches with 1080P resolution. The borescope does not need any external connections like WiFi, and it does not need any apps to be loaded. This makes it really easy to use. The probe lead is a slim 1/3 inch, and it is flexible enough to bend to get it through tight spots, but I really wouldn't want to force it through tight bends. It is bendable, but it is also fairly stiff. The lights in the end of the probe are VERY bright. You can control the brightness. All controls are on the display and handle. They are easy to use and understand. A charging port on the side also functions as a USB file transfer connection. This borescope checks all boxes. I wouldn't mind a way to extend it more than 5 feet, but it does exactly what I wanted, and it produces beautifully clear images. The steerable head makes a HUGE difference in usability and convenience! Five stars!

I'm really loving how easy it is to navigate this camera and move it with the attached knob on the handle of the screen. The court itself is really stiff and will let you place it in pretty hard to reach places. The only downside to it, is that there isn't a lot of room for wiggling around when you're holding it, as the stiffness will likely move the camera in a way you don't want it to, if it's not securely or snugly buffered against something. The screen software and hardware are both exemplary, and I love that it comes with a 32 gigabyte SD card pre-slotted. When you first turn on the unit, it does give you a decent tutorial on the functions of all the buttons, and there are a lot of decent functions here, most that you will likely use at some point. It includes options for snapping pictures, video, and giving you a decent amount of options for saving the files. The one notable thing missing, however, is a wireless protocol for transferring the stuff to, say, a phone or a computer. I do think that would have really set this thing apart and made it a perfect device, especially for the price point. As it stands, you have to take the SD card out and transfer it through traditional ways instead. The battery life, visibility, and brightness are all great. I found myself running this thing for a long time (read: hours) and it really didn't seem to drain the battery a lot. I can't attest to how long the battery life actually is on this because I haven't run it that long, but I have not had to use it for a recharge yet, and I've been playing with it pretty much all day and using it for some home repairs that are overdue. It's still 5 stars, but my wishlist is certainly for some wireless protocol to be added to a revision in the future.

I have to say, it’s one of the most impressive tools I’ve added to my collection. From the moment I turned it on, I was blown away by the quality and responsiveness of the display. The screen is clear, bright, and highly detailed, making it easy to see everything you’re inspecting even in tight or dark spaces. The touch sensitivity is excellent; it responds quickly and accurately to every input, which makes navigating menus and reviewing footage effortless. The dual-lens design and articulating feature are total game-changers. Being able to bend the camera in multiple directions with precision lets me inspect areas that would otherwise be impossible to reach—like behind walls, inside engine compartments, or under tight machinery. The lighting is strong and adjustable, so even the darkest corners are well-illuminated, which adds a level of confidence when working in complex environments. At 5 feet long, the snake scope provides plenty of reach without being unwieldy. The overall build feels solid and durable, which is important for any serious work, especially if you're a mechanic, contractor, or someone who regularly works in industrial or automotive spaces. The price compared to other models with similar features, this tool is an absolute bargain. It delivers high-end performance without the premium price tag, making it not only a smart purchase for professionals but also a fantastic gift idea for anyone who loves tools, DIY projects, or detailed inspections. In short, this borescope has exceeded my expectations in every way. It’s easy to use, packed with useful features, and built to last. I definitely recommend this product.
