What a phenomenal find! I've bought two of these so far and have used them extensively on my EGo 56v mower. One battery lasts for 45 minutes when I'm cutting my yard when the grass is long and thick during the summer. I can charge these on my EGo battery charger too. I was worried these would be cheap and dangerous aftermarket batteries due to the low price, but they work fantastic.

Very good battery exceeded or meet's OEM quality would not be surprised if these are made by the same manufacture. one thing you want is quality battery if your storing these lithium-ion battery cells.

Works better than original EGO which failed before 1st year of use. EGO 3yr warranty useless. Be aware, EGO charger will not sense this battery at full charge and will not shut off. You must remove battery to prevent overcharge when using with EGO stock charger.

Only used this once so far, but it easily outlasted the original 2.5 Ah battery by double, just as it should! It does the weird continuous fan thing after it’s fully charged, but I just set a timer to remember to unplug it. That small hassle is certainly worth the $100+ dollars I saved vs OEM!

Although they worked perfectly to begin with, at the 10 month mark they have almost no functionality. They last a few minutes with a full charge.by the way, living in New York, they were not used at all during the winter.

When the 7.5 Amp battery on my Ego Mower failed after 2 1/2 years, I bought this 5 Amp replacement battery as an emergency backup. I tried it out today and cut 4000 sq ft before it was drained. That's pretty decent. The bigger, 7.5 Amp battery would cut about 6000 sq ft. By the way, the Ego replacement process was relatively easy. I answered a few questions and did a timed test-to-failure. It took about a month to get the new battery, but I expected that. Of course there's no warranty on the replacement battery.

Good price on battery and it works on EGO tools not requiring lots of power. Does not work well with blower when using turbo button. Additionally, my EGO battery charger does not turn off automatically when charging this battery. I'm buying a special plug outlet which (timer controlled) limits battery charger two hour maximum then electricity will automatically turn off in case I forget battery is being charged. Concerned if left unattended battery may overheat causing a fire. It works great on my weed trimmer.

This EGO equivalent has large capacity per charge, nice visual gauge on how much charge is left while in use, though I see that the latest EGO unit has the same feature now. Even better, a more reasonable priced replacement than what EGO charges. Despite the spec for this battery being equivalent to the same EGO 5.0Ah battery, this one seems run longer than the original from my experience and definitely takes longer to charge which is not an issue for me. You can use your existing EGO charger with no issues. Definitely excellent value for the money.

Charges and works just like dealer batteries

For third-party batteries, they come close to the EGO brand name batteries for run-time in my ST2110 snowblower. My only knock on them is that in the EGO dual-charger, they don't stop charging when full like the brand batteries do.

Was so happy to find a replacement battery at a decent price.
