I purchased the docking station on Amazon in December and it stopped working in June. I called Dell about warranty and was told the 1 year warranty was already expired even though I had only purchased it 6 months earlier. Their warranty starts when they manufacture the product and not when you purchase it. The docking station I received was manufactured in 2018 so it was out of warranty before I received it. They said I could purchase another one directly from them if I wanted to and I need to contact Amazon for warranty. So disappointed with Dell not supporting their product and honoring a warranty to protect their customer. I will not be purchasing a replacement.

Not the T0J21 model as indicated in the description. Labelled as PRO2X model. Unsure at this time of compatibility as several of the Dell model numbers are same hardware. I have it connected to a Precision 4700, which according to Dell, requires the T0J21 model. It has been a few hours and so far, no complaints or errors.

I really appreciate this docking station. I have the laptop set up docked and to the left of my two main monitors, full sized keyboard and preferred pointing device. One gripe I have is that since my Dell Precision 7710 is about 16 - 1/4" wide, it rocks a little when pressing on the power button. It would be better if the base of the docking station was a little wider or had some spacers to stabilize the larger sized laptops/mobile workstations. I do appreciate the abundant USB 3.0 Ports.

I have a Dell e7250. Yes, this laptop does have a lot of wasted space because the docking station connectors are near the hinge on this laptop, but the spacer I got in the box did the job just fine. I've got 3 external displays connected, along with USB devices and speakers. My serious problem here, however, is that performance of the laptop while on the docking stations is significantly reduced. While on the docking station, the CPU idles at ~60% busy. I'm still in investigation of what the root cause is. Another issue is that it seems to put to sleep the audio when not in use. Thus, when an audio alert is generated (say a new email comes in), it "awakens" the audio which causes my external speakers to "pop" every time. If I'm listening to music, the audio channel stays active, and I don't get that pop sound when new alerts happen.

Good docking station, has every port that I could ever need. It looks and feels pretty old-school, but what do you expect... the concept of docking stations is old-school. The important thing is, it works very well, and I'm completely satisfied with it.
