It's perfect -- not even any dings. I needed to accommodate Microsoft's pressure to move from Windows 10 to Windows 11. Windows 11 deployed smoothly after I powered up and connected with wifi using the included USB wifi device. I use the computer to work remotely, and it has served the purpose superbly. The cost saving compared to a new unit is huge, and the many and diverse ports compared to a laptop are a huge convenience.

Needed a new second computer to run Windows 11 for my wife. Our old computer could not be upgraded and was starting to run very slow. Installation of this machine was a breeze and everything worked perfectly. Speed is excellent. I am very pleased with the purchase. Great price and it fits our needs perfectly.

Awesome computer. It arrived a few days early and in almost immaculate condition. It was super easy to set up and run. It took awhile to get all the updates, but that is beside the point. I highly recommend this from Amazon. Don't go buy some cheap junk from stores thinking it is better.. This machine has the one of the best Intel I-5chip and it beats the pants off any other chips that I have ever experienced with.

We needed to replace a failing Windows 10 home computer asap. We opted for the 16GB RAM, 500GB SSD version. The case says Optiplex 7070, not 3060. Also the pic of the back shows a DisplayPort and an HDMI port plus an oddball 9-pin serial port. Ours has two DisplayPorts, no HDMI (so we had to buy a DisplayPort cable). Whatever - the processor is as expected, Intel i5-8500. The 500GB SDD is of indeterminate manufacture (via Windows System Information - Model # SSV8 nowhere to be found on the Internet). But the machine is working, with two USB-attached HDDs that we managed to save our stuff onto before the old computer actually died. We are OK with it. It comes pre-installed with Windows 11 Pro, which we wanted since W10 is soon to be unsupported. For anyone reading this review coming from W10, W11 is aggressive about looping you into an all-Microsoft universe, just use what you need and you can opt out of what you don't. You do need a Microsoft account to get started when you are initializing the computer for the first time.

This review is for the Dell Optiplex 3060 Desktop Computer | Intel i5-8500 (3.2) | 32GB DDR4 RAM | 1TB SSD I was very disappointed when the package was opened. The computer had obviously been used in an industrial environment. Renewed? Excellent condition? Hardly! This computer is hardly in good condition and not even close to being in excellent condition. It appears that the computer had a light cleaning that left dirt in all of the ports. There's no onboard wifi, I thought the video player was going to fall apart when it was opened, and the image displayed on the monitor is "fuzzy". Testing was halted after seeing the poor quality of the display image. Yes, the monitor was checked with another computer and the image was clear. I'm not going to go on and on about the disappointing condition of this computer because, I feel that enough has been said. Having purchased other " renewed" computers from Amazon in the past, I can't understand how a computer that's in the poor condition of this computer ever made it past the rules of Amazons renewed program. Did I just get a bad item? Well, maybe, but that bad item never should have made it out of the door as being in excellent condition! As always, it's your money, and it's your choice.

I ordered a couple of these Dell computers to upgrade to Windows 11. Both the computers were in brand new condition , very clean . The setup was easy and both are up and running. I did have an issue with the order but that was rectified by stg support.

It took a full day and a half to initialize, run all the wires, and set up the new computer with all the programs and files, customized the way I needed. But for only $250 plus another $37 for a three year warranty I got myself a lightning fast machine!

I bought, without knowing it didn't have the right display adapter. I spoke to Eric at Microsoft customer service who said it needs a DP to VGA adaptor and was kind enough and going to send me one. Excellent customer service!! Thank you. Once I receive and set pc, I will review again.
