These provide a warm white light and worked well to light up a dark room.

There is an identical fan light combo in each of our 3 bedrooms. The light globe glass is fairly thick, with a sort of tan tint. So, it blocks a fair amount of the light output. Unfortunately, these fixtures take candelabra base lamps. It is difficult to find lamps with a high lumen output. I tried some similar lamps, but they only had a 1000 lumen output each. So, I had to keep the globe off of my fixture in two of the rooms. One is being used as an office and the other is my music and computer room. With these 1500 lumen lamps I have been able to put the globe back on in my music room and still have sufficient light. See picture of room with the light off, the little bit of light in this picture is coming from the hallway. The second picture is with these lamps on. There is also a picture showing how the lamps mount in the fixture. There is plenty of room. Unfortunately, I was not able to use these lamps in the office. While for some reason they work great in two of the 3 rooms, in the fixture in the office they flicker like crazy. I tried switching the lamps around, but it did not resolve the issue. This fixture can use the 1000 lumen LED lamps of a similar style without any flickering issue. I can only come to the conclusion that there is something different about the dimmer device in the fixture in the office. That being the case if this were my only fixture I would have rated these bulbs with a 1, since I would not have had anything else to compare them to except for the existing 100 lumen LED bulbs. I ended up putting these into the music room and a spare bedroom. They work quite well. They dim smoothly and work great at any dimming setting that I use. I basically rated these 4 stars instead of 5 because I do not know how long they will last.

Excellent bulbs! Ideal for our kitchen ceiling fan lights. So much brighter than our older bulbs. If they last, then they are well worth their price.

My bedroom ceiling fan has the smaller E12 sockets, but regular incandescent bulbs have never been bright enough for me. These are very bright for their size and are dimmable without flickering-perfect for the bedroom.

I guess I didn’t know that the description candelabra bulbs means itty bitty bulbs with itty bitty screw-ins. It never occurred to me that a bulb with 120-150 watt brightness would be tiny little things, but they certainly are. I do have a lamp that I can use them in, but I was hoping for normal size bulbs. Oh well I will have to dig out the other lamp, and the reason it was retired was because it needed small, brighter bulbs, so it’s a match.

It's hard for me to review this as I have a lamp with a 4.5 watt E12 LED dimmable bulb (same exact base as these, which also fit perfectly into the lamp). The lamp is not bright enough, so I ordered these 9 watt dimmable bulbs. These bulbs do not work at all in my lamp. I'm not sure why, as they screw into the lamp socket perfectly.

I have weird fixtures in my bathroom that only can use these, and I'm happy to find ones this bright and low power. The corn cob pattern blends together into a solid light source behind the diffuser, and so far it seems to be working nicely. My fixture tends to blow out bulbs quickly because it is enclosed (and therefore can't cool well, causing burn outs), so we'll see how long this lasts but so far so good!

More and more bulbs around my home seem to be moving to these E12 base bulbs. This can be good and bad depending on your needs but I find myself having less spares of these bulbs and the ones I do have aren’t always great bulbs. Some of my E12 bulbs just don’t put out the lumens they should and others put out good light but get so hot they could seriously burn you. So I found myself needing some more of these bulbs and knowing that many of the ones in the big box stores can be cost prohibitive or sneaky in packaging. A frustrating one I’m seeing here locally is putting three in a pack which is awesome when my ceiling fan needs four. I’d not tried the COB LED’s in my overhead lights before and I decided to try a new brand as well on Amazon and settled on trying these so I ordered them. Let me start with saying I like these bulbs, build quality is above average for others I’ve bought. They did smart things like incorporate vents in the bulbs to let them breathe. As mentioned I’ve got some other hundred watt bulbs in E12 format and they would easily pull over two hundred Fahrenheit (I have to spell numbers out because the review reviewers can reject my reviews claiming I’m comparing costs) and at those temps you can easily burn yourself or have these burn out. These bulbs were hardly warm to the touch after 30 minutes of running So that’s a huge plus. These also put out a pretty good amount of useable light. Now the not as good but not bad part, I can not see how these are one hundred watt equivalents. They are not as bright as my brand name big box ones which rated those at seventy five watt equivalents. So based on that I’d say these are between sixty and seventy five watt equivalent bulbs. Mind you they do still put out a good amount of usable light. They are also quite yellow, not so much as I’d argue that three thousand kelvin is wrong but these feel very much closer to the twenty seven hundred kelvin. Everyone's eyes are different and I don’t own a spectrometer to measure so I’ll leave it at that. As mentioned I like these bulbs and running so cool is a big plus to me, they will be a nice replacement for the room they were intended to be installed in.
