I really wanted to love this thing. I bought this for my travel trailer in an attempt to save space, however, using it was more of a hassel than just laying out a dish towel on the counter. Positives: (1) It adjusts to fit the sink. Our TT has a single basin under-mount sink with a small lip for the rack to sit on; the adjustability enables us to use it in both long and short directions. (2) Can be used for rinsing / drying fresh fruits and veggies. (3) The rack dries easily and rolls up into the cutlery section for compact, easy storage. Negatives: (1) You have to be extra careful not to bump this thing when dishes are on it, as the adjustable nature of the item enables it to easily retract and drop into your sink. (2) The biggest negative has nothing to do with the specific product, but the basic design of these types of racks. If you're trying to use this with a single-basin sink, take a moment to ask yourself where you're going to put the dishes before you're done with the rest of them. I thought I would be able to use this on half of the sink while washing and rinsing, but I kept bumping the rack... which would immediately reduce in size and drop the "drying" dishes back into the soapy water. It's not a bad product; it just wasn't right for my setup, apparently.

Click to play video We're making some upgrades to our kitchen, and to accompany our single basin stainless steel sink, we wanted to add a stainless steel dish drying rack. The primary reason I chose this rack over others was that it appeared to be easily expandable/collapsable; however, what I learned upon receipt is that you have to secure the rack to the position that works with the provided screws and nuts. This makes sense since we don't want this to be wobbly when placing your dishes on it, but in my head, this would be collapsable and easy to store away when not using it. In hindsight, I understand why this is the case and I'm not unhappy about it. ;) This rack seamlessly complements our new sink (Kraus). It almost looks like they came as a set. Our sink is 17" deep, and this rack fits great. My one gripe is the metal extendable arms with the rubber – they work fine but could be of higher quality. Compared to another over-the-sink accessory we have, the arms feel thin and flimsy.

It’s just the right size that I need it and if I need it any longer, it can expand to fit into the sink and that’s what I want. Quality is excellent so if you’re looking for an expandable dish rack well this would be the one for you and if you live in an RV, and we all know how the sinks are in An RV this will fit perfect and expand to the size that you need

Great for saving space and versatile. Nice and sturdy too for the heavier pots.

The extensions on the rack fit the sink top but they tend to make the rack somewhat unstable in terms of movement while setting on the sink. We are cautious when we place dishes in the rack because it can slide around. Perhaps some simple re-design engineering and additional rubber coatings to prevent slippage and maintain stability? Overall, it is functional for the office sink but requires basic caution when using.

Love it! I got it so my dishes wouldn't take up room on my island (I do not love the sink in the island trend). It's sturdy and has held cookie trays, pots and pans, etc. Stays in place with no problems. So glad I bought it.

Insgesamt praktisch.
