Our refrigerator is getting older, like over a decade of dependable service. Seems like a good idea to give it some love with these cleaning tablets from time to time. We have hard water, so calcium residue will build up without some kind of cleaning product / effort. After the first use, I could see an extra-clean dishwasher interior. It provides a gently lemony scent, which is pleasant. I like how it's working as the first impression. Will plan to use about once a month to keep the cleanliness going.

These cost much less than the big name brands so I can do a cleaning twice a month for less money. They cleaned the inside of my stainless steel lined Kenmore pretty well. However, I still have an orange film on some parts down by the filter (I cleaned the filter before using the cleaning pods). They did improve the smell. As with any cleaning pods you will still need to hand clean parts hidden while the door is closed such as where the door stops on the bottom and side crevices. Overall, they are a good value.

I've previously used the Active washing machine tablets with great success, so I've added their dishwasher cleaner to the rotation as well. The active component of these tablets includes citric acid, which is a natural descaler and easy on plumbing. After a couple washes with these tablets, my dishwasher has never looked or smelled better! Each pack comes with 24 pods, which can last a year if used biweekly. Note, that if you haven't cleaned your dishwasher in a long tim, it may be worth running two consecutive clean cycles with these tablets. After that, keep on the regular rotation of every other week and your dishwasher will always look sparkly!

I have used tablets in the past that I had the break to get them to fit in the little door on the outside of the dishwasher, which was always a pain in the butt, but these are tiny. They fit right in there. He closed the door and you’re done the first time I used it. It did a great job cleaning the dishwasher which hadn’t had tablets in it for about two months But brought it back squeaky clean overall I’m looking forward to getting a lot of use out of these. The price was very reasonable compared to other things you’ll find around. I would say it was about half the price plus storage. It doesn’t take up a lot of space it comes in a very slim box so you can just slide it into anything else you have underneath the sink Overall and very satisfied with purchase it again but probably now not for a couple years. UPDATE: I removed all the suds from my dishwasher and ran a regular light load. The dishwasher ran normally - no leaks - no service call! ORIGINAL: So, in all fairness, my dishwasher installation is a bit different: 1) I have dishwasher drawers, which makes them half the size of a regular dishwasher; 2) When I use a dishwasher tab, I usually only use half a tab per dishwasher; 3) My drawers do not automatically remove food scraps and dispose of them, I manually remove the filter and clean it; 4) I have soft water. While most people buy these products to remove lime, I was using it to remove grime. I followed the online instructions and cleaned the filter manually before starting the process. I placed the full tablet (as they advise against breaking in half) in the detergent dispenser, started the machine, and opened it to air dry. The dishwasher started leaking pretty quickly and continuously throughout the process. When I opened it, it was full of suds. The water on the floor in the picture is a small amount because I had to keep cleaning it up. Fortunately, I have stained concrete floors, so I wasn’t concerned about ruining them. Given the high reviews of this product, I believe that my situation was likely different from what is normal, or they have changed the formula. I cannot fully recommend the product under the circumstances. I have not re-tried my dishwasher to see if it is now broken. Perhaps a seal needs to be replaced. However, I think the company should conduct more research to address these issues.
