I had never seen these plates in a store, and when they arrived they looked so huge I wasn't sure if they would work. But I just had a crowd over for a supper and these plates worked fantastic. Everyone was able to dish up the amount they wanted and they commented on how sturdy the plates were. The depth is also nice, especially when you're serving Buffet style and people have to walk around with their plate. I would definitely buy these again. They did not go soggy with the food. Their strength seems to come in the pressed ridges in their shape. Plus the paper is quite stiff. These plates were quite a bit more expensive than what I could have bought in local stores, but I still am happy with these plates.
