I have to bribe my puppy into his kennel when I leave for work and this helps a ton. I mix a natural peanut butter with just enough oat flour to make it like a playdoh consistency and freeze it in the form that comes with it. It keeps him busy for up to 20 minutes! This is reason to celebrate as all chew toys I've found, he destroys so fast. It's made of a heavy duty material that he's not been able to alter. I read reviews from others complaining that the toy is difficult to open. I have not had this problem. The directions suggest keeping it lightly oiled with a veggie oil in case it does get difficult but I haven't had to do that and I usually have issues opening things. It comes with almost a key that you stick into the part that unscrews to assist with getting a grip on it and I find that it works great.

So I was shopping for this type of item and had seen the name brand one. My husband is a value shopper and found me this set. So I got 3 sets, one for each of my dogs. I have 2 Rottweilers and a puppy doberman. I have made 2 different flavor treats so far; rice, beef broth, and a can of wet dog food stew mixed together. Then a batch of pumpkin puree, peanut butter, and cooked bacon. My puppy was not that interested the first two times I gave them the ball. That was with the rice pupsicle. I just gave them all three the pumpkin one and they love it. My younger rottweiler is a power chewer, she destroys everything. But she chews on these like crazy and you can't even tell. I have an older rottweiler, a young adult rottweiler, and a puppy doberman for reference. Artemis, Elara, and Jinx all approve! I'm enjoying coming up with new flavors for them and have 2 freezer bags full already. 100% recommend this product and would buy again. Very durable and very entertaining for the doggos

Lifesaver to have with a teething puppy. I freeze pumpkin and wet food or a combo of it. The molds work perfectly if you don’t overfill them. I’m not sure how well it would work for a bigger dog but it seems extremely sturdy and it does keep our puppy entertained and interested.

My dog loves it. I like the shape and size of it, because it doesn't roll under furniture like the red Kong brand. The size and shape make it easy to find. It's much easier to get the peanut butter into this toy. The Kong toy takes several minutes to stuff and it's a messy job. This toy, you just drop the frozen treat in the center and screw the top on, just like you're screwing on a lid for a jar. My dog goes nuts when I leave the home. But now, this toy keeps him occupied before I even make it to the front door. I highly recommend it.

The dogs love them and they will last forever. Perfectly designed and just the right amount of rubber that the dogs can grip them.

Now, don’t get me wrong, I love this toy. It’s a great idea and is made well. However, this is probably better for smaller dogs and not that great for dogs like red heelers, German shepherds, boxers, pits, etc. She goes through these ice pieces FAST. Each one will last about 5-10 minutes before it’s gone and I have to take it away because you CANNOT chew on it. It’s a super soft rubber and will easily be shredded. Under supervision, this toy is safe….until they try to bite off pieces. Would have given more stars if it lasted her longer! But she loves it!

Click to play video My dog needs a lot of mental/ physical enrichment and this is an awesome toy to give her both of those things! I saw the name brand one and the price without the freezer molds was more than this product, I thought I’d give this one a try first because it’s essentially the same thing. For the molds, I like to put a few different things, peanut butter, yogurt, or pumpkin. I then let them freeze at least 5-6 hours and they mostly pop out pretty easily. When preparing the ball, I use melted butter and apply it along the threads of the ball where the top part and the bottom meet. I make sure that once the frozen part is in and I screw the two pieces of the ball together it’s tight enough where my dog is unable to open it when using it but not tight enough to where I’m unable to undo it when she’s done. ***After your dog is done with the ball you need to unscrew it immediately or else it will be extremely difficult to separate later on*** This takes my dog usually 15 minutes or so to finish. When I clean it I simply put it in the sink, run hot water, use dawn dish soap and a brush to clean. Then I set it aside on a paper towel to dry and then it’s ready for the next use. If anything were to ever happen to this ball I would honestly continue to buy it over and over again because my dog loves it and it’s convenient!

I was hoping good things for this, I have a 45lb Aussie doodle who loves to chew but isn’t a strong chewer like a Pitbull or German Shepherd & I had this for less than 24 hours and it’s already been destroyed. Not for the very high chewing type dogs.
