So Ivory was what my mom & the family used! My grandmother told me that all Ivory dish soaps & bar soaps are PH balanced! That Ivory soap is gentle enough to use on a baby, and even on your hair! So If you should run out of shampoo! Worst case scenario, she said Johnson’s Baby Shampoo is another PH balanced soap! She advised us to keep some on hand, at all times as a backup plan for your householdl! My sister Vicki lives in Las Vegas, she has a swimming pool in back of her house. She used Olay body wash, and had some by her outside shower. The whole pool area was cement, except the shower area it was done in a beautiful ceramic tile. She was having a pool party, with some work friends over. She decided to buy some Olay body wash in a large pump for her outside shower! Along with some Shampoo & Conditioner. Hands down the best body wash I’ve used. I had gotten this in a smaller version in a travel kit I got recently and totally spaced on bringing body or face lotion. I was pleasantly surprised by its effectiveness. It worked so well with my sensitive skin that it didn’t cause any skin irritation. The texture was so smooth and creamy and the overall scent was fresh and clean. My skin was so moisturized that I didn’t have to bother using lotion. Appearance wise my skin was truly lotion soft. I used to use other brands like Olay and will now forever use Dove. 10/10 recommend!

This body wash is a solid pick overall. The scent is a little too strong for me (like most body washes and Dove shampoos/conditioners), but it’s still pleasant and clean. It lathers really well, which makes it super economical — a little goes a long way. The main reason I bought it (and keep coming back to it) is that it’s vegan, affordable, and Dove doesn’t test on animals globally. That combo can be surprisingly hard to find in everyday products, so I really appreciate having this option on the shelf.
