· PREMIUM QUALITY: This low dust litter helps to support healthy breathing and lung function in cats and is created with a formulation free from common allergens, plant proteins, perfumes, or deodorants. · LOW DUST: Ideal for cats and owners who are more sensitive to irritants in the air with a 99.9% dustless and non-irritating litter formulation formulated for those with more delicate lungs. · HARD CLUMPING: Hard clumping medium grain clay helps prevent fluid and waste from reaching the bottom of the tray and forms hard clumps that won't break down, making it easier to scoop. Works with mechanical litter boxes. · STRESS RELIEVING FORMULA: The natural essences in the litter along with the low dust help to reduce stress, which in turn supports healthy breathing and can reduce common feline issues associated with inhaling dust. · SUPERIOR SCENT CONTROL AND LOW TRACKING: A unique formulation of medium grain clay helps keep litter in the box where it belongs and will keep your house smelling fresh, formulated for multi- cat households!

I've used different litters for 40 years. This really is dust free and fragrance free and controls odor really well. It's not a litter you can let go for a month without cleaning the box but why in the world would a person subject a cat to an untended box? It's more expensive than a lot of litters but you get what you pay for, your cat won't get asthma from the dust and you won't gag every time you have to bend over it.

My cat was coughing whenever he would use the crystal litter. It didn’t start like that, but over time it irritated him (he just turned 3). I switched to this litter and I haven’t heard him cough in weeks! Not only that, but I can barely smell it. I have a LitterRobot3 to give people an idea of what I’m working with. Sifts right through and dumps out all the excess perfectly every time. And my other cat who likes to spray has been using the litter box significantly more as well. I suspect the crystal litter might have been irritating his paws. Hopefully this review can help anyone in a similar situation or in general make a decision. Highly recommend.

My cats love this litter! They for some odd reason want to lay in it. It clumps great and isn’t dusty like other brands. Highly recommend!

Dr. Elsey's cat litter is great litter. I usually use the ultra, which is excellent especially for the price. But, my cat is having breathing issues, so I thought I'd try it. It doesn't create dust and it clumps. I don't think it clumps as good as the other one, but it does clump. There's hardly any tracking and it has great odor control. It's a medium grain, so it's on the lighter side. But, I don't think it's that much different than their other varieties to validate the extra cost.

All litter sucks…. But this is the best I’ve found so far. Thought it’d help w/ my cats coughing. Not sure it has. There’s still a lot of dust when you pour into box, which I was surprised, but this litter seems the most sanitary it can get. Clumps well w/o getting clay-like/sticky. I hate that.

Does not control odor at all. It is dust free, that i am happy about but will not purchase again.

The cat & I both have allergies. He doesn't sneeze at all with this. He loves the texture & he's very fussy. I find it gritty to step on. We've tried all the Dr.Ellsey litters, and this is the best one for us. We do recommend them all.
