I ordered this starter kit in the variety Grove - the scent when my wife unboxed it for me immediately filled up our living room, so it's definitely very robust. Placing it inside of the Drift vent clip allows you to control how much of the scent to let out at once so it's not overwhelming in a small space like a car once you've got it adjusted. I really like the citrusy scent of Grove; I often dislike air freshener scents because of how artificial they smell but this one doesn't bother me at all. The metal finish of the vent clip makes it look classy and high quality, and it attached snugly to the vents in my 2013 Chevy Spark. My wife has commented on how nice my car smells since I installed it, and that's pretty impressive considering the fact that we both smoke cigarettes in my car. Although I'm really enjoying it so far, I don't know if I'd be willing to pay almost $40 for a pack of three scent refills. Hopefully it will last a long enough time that I don't have to weigh that decision for quite a while. Update: I still like this, but I got in my car the other day and thought to myself, "why does it smell like weed in here?" before realizing it was this air freshener. It's not like dank sticky icky skunky weed smelling, more on the citus/pine-y side. It hasn't hit me like that since, but I thought it might be worth mentioning.

This vent clip is easy to assemble. The smell is great. It’s better to buy 2 of these vent clips to distribute the aroma throughout the whole car and for a longer period of time.

Love the scent holder. Very sleek and small. Definitely not like the cheap tacky gas station type. Scent bar seems like it will last a long time. Very easy to put together and like the magnet. I will need a different scent wax next time. They need a bigger selection. Other color options like black, chrome or wood would be my suggestion.

The hype is real. This is the best car air freshener I've tried, and as a smoker I've tried about every one there is. It's super easy to install, the vent clip comes inside the case, just take it out and pop it on the back. It's well secured once on. The clip itself fits on any style vent and holds well, no shifting or coming out. The case cover has a great magnetic hold, super easy to remove and replace when you change or refill the scent. It is a perfect size, large enough to diffuse scent well but doesn't add a lot of bulk to your vent. There is also a nice slider that can adjust the level of scent to your preference. The Drift air freshener comes in several materials and colors to match your style, this metal copper case is a great neutral color that will look good in any vehicle. Scent is totally subjective but I love the Amber scent that came with this. It's strong enough to notice without being overpowering. The scent discs are easy to install and seem to last. I haven't used this the full up to 30 days advertised yet but I see no reason to think that claim is incorrect. I have already ordered refills to try some other scents. Absolutely love this and highly recommend!

I'd been looking for a car air freshener that wasn't cutesy or too overly perfume-like. When I saw this I thought I'd give it a try, and it works really well. It's unobtrusive, small, and sleek-looking. I got the "Amber" scent, which is pleasant without being perfumy (although honestly I prefer the "Teak" scent -- it's nice and woody). The company claims that their scents don't contain any unnecessary chemicals and that the air fresheners are safe for kids and pets, which is encouraging and good to know. Assembly involves simply snapping the clip onto the back of the metal scent case, and then clipping it onto an AC vent. The scent refill is a silicone-like block that fits inside the case. The cover is held on by a small magnet. There is also an adjustable vent on the back to control how much scent is released at one time. So far I've had it in my vehicle for about three weeks or so, and it still smells nice. The case seems durable and doesn't take up a lot of space on the dash. My only real issue is the price. I can't honestly say that I'd be willing to pay $17 for one of these, and then nearly $40 for a pack of three refills. They are nicely made, good quality, and the scents are pleasant and long-lasting, but overall a bit too expensive for my tastes. However, if I were to see a lower price, I'd definitely grab a couple more of these.

I was glad I found this on Amazon vs their main website. I just got a new car and wanted a new car freshener. I love the sleek modern design of the metal car clip. As for the fragrance, it's not a strong/offensive smell, like many other fresheners out there. It's a nice masculine scent IMO. I will definitely try other scents!

I really like how this vent clip looks in my car. It’s simple and clean with a nice weight to it. The amber scent has a warm, slightly woodsy feel that isn’t too strong but gives off a consistent, pleasant aroma when the air is on. It clips on securely and doesn’t rattle or move around. The scent lasts longer than I expected and doesn’t have any of that artificial, overpowering smell some fresheners do. It’s a nice upgrade from the usual options.
