Although these are pricey, they are worth every dollar! I love how this one doubles as a heater and a fan so it’s a 2 in 1 device. It’s a perfect size for any area, and is not loud at all! It also comes with a remote to control the setting to meet your desired needs!

So I was hesitant to purchase this heater/fan initially because of the high price tag but I will say that now that we have it in the house we are absolutely loving it. It is ideally suited for small spaces so we use it to keep our daughters’ bedroom warm during colder months. It does this job exceptionally well- the room stays perfectly comfortable without fear of overheating the girls due to the built in thermostat and the ability to adjust the fan power at a comfortably low setting. This is true for the cooling fan as well. Other fans we’ve used are loud and overpowering and need to be placed in front of a well ventilated area to push cold air out. The intensity of the fans make it too cold to keep on all night. Not so with this fan - again somehow this fan manages to have just the perfect settings so you can adjust it to be cool enough but not overpowering. And we can stick it in front of a wall and it still manages to push cold air out. It is also very safe because unlike other space heaters it does not get hot so you don’t have to worry about little ones burning themselves if they touch it. The things to consider about this unit are the following : it is not well suited for larger spaces like a large open living room- while it will heat the space it will not do it sufficiently enough to feel toasty warm like a larger unit would. It also can not be used as an air conditioning unit for larger spaces - the fan is very effective and does a good job of cooling you in a small space but it does not have a high intensity cooling system like AC units do. Essentially if you have a small space that you need to heat and cool comfortably then this will work well for you. I would say it is best used to heat or cool a child’s room because it is safe, quiet and not overly intense so you never have to worry that your child is too hot or too cold at night while they sleep. That being said as much as we love the unit (and it is really an exceptionally well made and high quality product) we did get it on sale and I’m not sure that we would have bought it at full price, as it is quite expensive for just being a simple fan and heater.

We turned the heat on in the winter to make sure the babies room does not get too cold and it regulates the temperature based off of what you set it at. It oscillates only if the button is pressed, and the only downfall is that it only works by remote.

I bought this because it was on sale and figured for the price tag, it must be good, what with the name Dyson behind it. I have a tiny room, and at max level the only thing max about it is the noise it makes. It is loud and the effective range of the air blown when on the concentrated setting at 10, is about 3 to 4 feet of warm air (not cool). A cheap fan from Wal-Mart does a much better job and cost more than 10x less. As for the warming feature of it, I'm am not sure yet. It is still 90+ degrees here and I wouldn't dare test out a heater when it's as hot as it is already. Save your money, and go get something much cheaper. This was a disappointing buy, and now I'm going to have to go through the hassle of sending it back.

I’m really happy with my heater and fan! It works exactly as advertised—blowing cold air in the summer and keeping the space warm during the cooler months. The temperature control is spot on, and it heats or cools a room efficiently. The only downside is that it’s a little loud. When it’s on, it can be hard to hear the TV or have conversations in the same room, but I find that the performance makes it worth it. Setup was super easy, and it’s very sleek and modern looking. Overall, I’m very satisfied with its performance and would recommend it for anyone needing both a fan and heater in one. Just be aware that it can be a bit noisy!

We are loving this! We are using the heater to heat a cool section of our house and it is working very well. It is quiet (but not silent). The oscillating feature seems to really spread the heat around. It's nice to be able to set the temp and it will turn on and off on its own. I had debated on one for years and saw this one sale and finally got one. I am so glad I did and wish I had done it sooner! My mom and aunt were very impressed by it also and found it to be warmer and have a father hear range than the edenpure they use.

This is my first Dyson purchase. Im so happy with it! The heating feature on this fan is awesome. it warms a room in minutes. It stays on until the room is warmed to the desired temp and then shuts off. it will turn back on when it starts to cool. The cool aspect of this fan goes up to 10 speed settings. and has all the usual options for a fan - timer, oscillation, and tilt. It also has an option to direct the air through the room or straight shot on to you. And it comes with a handy remote! I will never buy another brand of fan ever! Once you go Dyson, you won't want anything else.

I purchased this heater for a large sun-room that is quite cold in the winter months. It is a large space to heat but this does the job well. It's quiet and stylish. So quiet that I have sometimes forgotten to switch it off, although that can be solved with the timer feature. It provides a heat that does not dry out the atmosphere. The heater is well constructed and easy to move to a different location. It's not as cheap as some similar products but you get what you pay for.
