This is better than my regular vacuums. By far the best I have ever owned. I was a little hesitant to get another stick style vacuum I had purchased one before that was a bit junky and did very little but make a lot of noise. But this Dyson is a BEAST! It never fails to perform. And with all the attachment choices there is very little I cannot reach. I mean I have purposely sought out nooks and crannies because I have this there is no place that this thing cannot reach and clean. Worth every penny. They cost more because they WORK. Battery for me is great you rarely need turbo or high speed mode the regular mode does so much. I guess if you had to suck up a lot of really heavy bits of something turbo mode is needed, but so far it is like hitting the NOS button on a race car.....it goes Plaid. Get one. You will not be let down.

Love this thing. So convenient to use as it is light weight, so many attachments which make it multi-use, small so it can reach tight spots, easy to store... so many good things. Only complaint is battery life, but still worth it.

I am more enthusiastic about my Dyson cordless vacuums than any other appliances I've ever owned! My first, the V8 Animal, was a gift. After 4+ years of daily use, the lightweight, powerful and super convenient machine's battery wasn't lasting very long on the highest suction and the beater brush was getting worn down. Both parts are replaceable but I decided to put the money toward a second, newer model, the V8 Extra. I now use the older one for the patio and workshop. Dyson is a class act and the customer service is wonderful. I have purchased an after market soft hardwood floor head which I like for dust. It is lighted which would be my preference for the regular beater head, but I still wouldn't buy another brand of vacuum cleaner. Worth every penny.

I love this thing. Makes vacuuming enjoyable and the accessories are fantastic and easy to swap. Sadly I need to dock a star cuz after less than a year being lightly used, the battery suddenly no longer could be charged. We got the red blinking lights. I looked up some info online and it means the battery is dead. Really disappointing because it means we need a replacement battery already.

The battery charge lasts a whole 6 minutes. You read that right: 6 minutes. For the price, I should be able to vacuum my whole house. Having to hold the trigger the whole time you’re using it isn’t great either. Cleans well, but this is definitely going back.

I LOVE DYSON!! This is my third Dyson. My first cordless finally wore out and I pretty much ordered the exact same one because the first one was so good. The first one needed a part that isn't in stock, therefore, I ordered this one and its fantastic. The suction is fantastic - it will pick up pet hair, human hair, whatever happens to be on the kitchen floor! The battery lasts - I can vacuum my entire house twice before I need to charge it - my home is a little less than 2K s.f.! Its so light and easy to handle, easy to replace the attachments, it really is just great.

Loved that is a Dyson but the battery does not hold a charge at all! Hardwood floors, tile and 2 area rugs. I can get one floor done and it dies. Would not spend this kind of money again.
