I have a weekly pool service but atill decided to get my own test kit to see if the pool guys is actually doing what he’s supposed to. Well, i started asking the pool guy to send me a pic of the test strip every week, which i personally think should have been done in the first place so owners know their pool’s chemical balance. So i matched the pool guy’sntest result against this one from amazon and they’re pretty spot on. His shows chloring level a bit high (about 2 shades darker than what it should be) and mune showed the same shade for chlorine. I would highly recommend getting your own test stripes even if you already have a pool giy. This way you can at least check the balance of chemicals on demand.

We use the Leslie's Accublue home test system but these are great for in between tests just to keep a general eye on levels. I got these specifically to monitor chlorine levels between the more detailed testing. Super easy to use and seems spot on with my more detailed test system.

1st use was yesterday. It is MUCH easier using the strips than using the "droplets" into the vial. This also tests for more than chlorine and PH.

The great quick way to do water testing! The test is very easy to read. Great way to teat daily or when in a rush.

I have an inflatable hot tub in my bedroom and the “other kit” I had just wasn’t giving me accurate information. These strips are GREAT and give you ALL the information about the chemical balance in your spa water. These are the fastest strips I have ever used. The price is very affordable too.

Gave me a good comprehensive understanding of the different levels of water quality within my hot tub. Super easy to use and check the various levels. Doesn’t take up too much space and the bottle closes easily. Quickly gives you an idea of what your spa or pool needs.

Last year’s version of this seemed to work fine, but the one I got this year for pool season DOES NOT READ PH PROPERLY! The other tests are close enough to the values the pool store gave me for my sample, but pH was off by 0.8. (Low) both times I had the store do it. I tested distilled water, which is pH 7, and sure enough it read 6.2. I guess I’ll still use them for the other stuff, and just add .8 to pH. Pretty poor quality control for these to be off that much. Won’t buy again next year.

The strips didn't work, kept reading ph wrong. I bought distilled water to double check - consistently read it at a ph of 6. I tried another sample if purified water - did the same again.

I've used twice the recommended amount of chlorine for the size of my pool, but these test strips stubbornly give me a reading of 0ppm. I'll use another brand.

Great product, 5 star review. Cheaper than branded alternatives. Seriously though, these strips? Life-saving. Or at least skin-saving. They’ve caught more chemical drama than my group chat. One quick dip and they’re like, “Ma’am… that’s not water, that’s soup.” Now I test before every soak like the responsible, bougie adult I pretend to be. The colors don’t lie—and neither does the faint smell of chlorine betrayal. 150 strips of truth. And judgment. But in a good way. Would test again. Still won’t invite my ex in, though.
