After several previous poor choices and many other bags that have been returned, this bag is a WINNER!!! It’s just the right size to be a personal item for a flight, meaning it holds the very most a personal item can hold. It’s got zippered pockets in surprising spots, like the one on the top of the bag and the one on the lower part under the straps. I was almost ready to buy a bag 4x as much as this one, and now so glad I took a chance on this reasonably priced practical and cute style backpack meant as a carry on personal item. This is my first time using it, so I can’t speak for durability, but it seems well made. And best of all, my large metal water bottle has not fallen out. The water bottle pocket is extra deep and it has the additional buckle strap to secure the top of the bottle. It’s available in a bunch of nice colors too. Thank you for designing this bag and making it affordable.

I bought this backpack to use as an under seat carryon for a trip from the USA to France for a week-long river cruise. The size is ideal. It’s small enough to fit under an airplane seat and yet capacious enough to hold several days of clothing and shoes. There are four straps that can be used to compress soft objects. The zippers can be secured with a TSA lock. The pockets, which easily accommodated an Apple laptop and an i-pad, are protective and accurately sized. At first, the number of pockets may seem overwhelming, but with time and use, you will be grateful. Upon reaching our destination, we used the backpack as a shopping bag and supply carrier for land excursions. It was lightweight, comfortable, and durable. Overall: all pros, no cons.

Using compression cubes I was able to fit a week's worth of clothes in this 17" backpack! I love the suitcase design. The straps on the sides also allow for further compression. I also love that there's no padded laptop sleeve to take up space. If I need a laptop I can always find another way to protect that. It also has a bunch of pockets. My favorite one is the one tucked under the top handle. The space for the water bottle is also nice and deep and wide and has a strap above it if needing to strap it down. There's lots of things to love about this bag including that it's made with recycled plastic bottles. I got this 17" bag to comply with the airline restrictions for a small personal bag. I initially got a black bag but then switched it for navy after discovering the non-black colors include a lighter colored interior, which makes it easier to find things. Great bag for a great price!

If you want a backpack that can also double as an overnight bag this is the one. Lots of useful pocket plus can handle clothing. The fabric is made from recycled bottles. A nice weight and water resistant. For me, this is not an everyday bag. But for travel carryon its great.

I don't travel with a laptop when on vacation, so when I scored a last-minute cheap seat on Volaris, I needed to travel underseat only for a 6-day trip (current backpack wouldn't be large enough). So I bought this one. No separate laptop compartment (yey!) - but has usable front pockets, a hidden pocket at the back, and easily fit under the seat sideways - when regularly filled. On the way home with a couple of souvenirs I was glad the plane was only half full as my souvenirs made the pack too high. Comfortable shoulder straps (didn't miss the chest strap) and compression straps on the side made this a relative pleasure to travel with. No damage after first trip.

There are so many things I love about this backpack: the size (17"x11"x8") which actually meets the "under seat" fit requirement of many airlines; the main compartment zips open like a regular suitcase allowing better access for organizing your clothes; there are numerous zipper pockets on the front and top for easily reaching wallets, passports, Kindles, magazines, TSA liquids, etc.; the backpack straps are nicely padded and can be tucked under the back strap when not in use; also padded are two carry straps attached to the top and side of the luggage which allow you to carry the bag vertical or horizontal with the top strap making it easy to pull the bag out from under the seat; there are 2 mesh pockets with room in the side pocket for your water battle; the luggage sleeve on the back of the bag is useful for sliding your backpack onto another piece of luggage. This is a lightweight, water resistant, heavy duty nylon backpack that is quite useful.

Love! I take this as my personal item when I fly, along with my carry/on. This bag fits under the seat in front of me and holds all of my bathroom toiletries, hair tools, electronics and purse.
