We got the Ecoflow Delta Pro with transfer switch to run our furnace, fridge/freezers, sump pump and basement sink pump (where furnace condensate pump drains) overnight when the power is out due to storms. We had an electrician install the transfer switch not too long after receiving the unit. While we have not had an outage since we got it (not that I mind!), we have tested it out and it will be more than enough to allow us to peacefully sleep overnight. Except in situations when the furnace is going nearly constantly, we expect that this unit will run about a day with what we have on it. Before, we had to juggle sleep times to make sure that the fridge didn’t warm up and/or the house get too cold. Plus there was having to deal with an outside generator and the power cables going into the house in the cold and dark to boot. We used to use space heaters, which don’t quite do enough for the northern US in the winter, especially if you are out for a few days. The transfer switch is invaluable as we also can use it to plug in the generators to run the circuits attached (the furnace!!!) while recharging the Delta pro. A few things to note: 1) The Delta Pro’s instructions recommend a 45 day power discharge-charge cycle to help maintain the battery. We’ve just added it to our home maintenance routine and use the transfer switch for the discharge part of the power cycle. It works great and also gives us an idea how long it will work when we need it. I’m actually running a testing cycle as I’m writing a review in on a cold, snowy day. I don’t think that I could be more pleased with this setup (working as planned)! 2) We have done nothing with the bluetooth/wifi interface. We’re just using it as a backup battery that we manually connect to the transfer switch and it has been doing that so far out of the box without modifying the settings. If that’s important to you, I think other reviewers commented on that. 3) The transfer switch when we got the kit is a manual transfer switch that has 6 circuits with 120v as it comes with a single Delta Pro. You operate it fully manually, and that’s what we wanted. It is NOT a standby that kicks on if the power goes out (I think that you would need a smart panel for that). If you need 240v (for central AC?), keep that in mind as you may want a different transfer switch and should get the Delta Pro 3 or two Delta Pros with the double voltage hub. Any electrician should be able to get an appropriate transfer switch locally if you need to go that route.

AMAZING FOR TOU POWER PLANS! Great product, built like a tank (it even has wheels!) charges incredibly fast, I'm not using this as an emergency backup (although it will be amazing to have during one anyway), I'm using it as a solar generator. With power becoming more and more expensive - I wanted to find a way to decrease my bill and use the free natural solar power around my house. Hooking up 2x 400W Ecoflow solar panels in series, on a very sunny day I can charge this from 0-80% in around 6-7 hours, which means on sunny days I barely rely on grid power anymore. I was worried it would be too heavy to move around to use in different rooms, but the handle and wheels make it as easy as pulling a cart or wheelbarrow (it's 99lbs, so not light, but I'm 5'6 and skinny and I had no problem picking it up) It does get a bit noisy if you're discharging or charging at above around 700-1000W, but its not a big deal if you use headphones, I'd rather it be safe and cool than have the chance of overheating. I would recommend getting some solar if you buy this, if you've never used solar power before, it's an amazing feeling knowing you're using the energy that would have just been wasted into the ground, and this battery can power most houses for a full day. Ecoflow support have been incredibly helpful and kind, so if anything goes wrong I have trust that they would replace or help me fix the issue.

I bought this 3600Wh home battery backup and two 400W portable solar panels because I did not trust a 5000W gasoline generator that I had not used since Hurricane Ike in 2008 with the CO2/CO risk. The ECOFLOW system worked just fine and took only a few minutes to set up. Fully charged quickly from home wall outlet. Can't connect to home AC units, but wih 4 AC outlets, I used it to power (not all at same time) entertainment center, WiFi, phones, a few lamps, a garage door opener, a chain saw (yes electric, no battery), microwave oven, hair dryer and my refrigerator and used it to recharge backup batteries for iPhone, home security system and fiber optic connector. Only connected to refrigerator for 5-6 hours during middle of day so that I had at least 30% charge for next morning. Did not like Amazon description that included "Solar Generator for Home Use". Compatible portable 400W solar panels are sold separately. You have to manage power usage especially since solar panels do not work at night and work poorly in the morning, evening and when cloudy. However, during clear days in SE Texas at mid day, my 800W of solar panels produced a peak of 695W. Based on my experience with the days after Hurricane Beryl, I have ordered another 400W solar panel.

The first Delta Pro generator that I received didn't power any of the devices that I tried in any of the plugs, even when fully charged. Plus, the screen only came on for 1-2 secs and then it shut off. I called them twice. The first call I was told to update the firmware. I tried that, but the app said it could not connect to the unit. On the second call to them, I was told that even if the firmware was not up to date, it would not cause the generator to not power any devices. She said we have a defective unit and that they would replace it. I was told to pack up the unit, and that a return shipping label would be sent to us. I repacked, taped up, and moved this 100 lb unit to our front door. After doing all that, then I received an email saying that we needed to update the firmware and video tape everything we do and send it to them for review....and no shipping label was received. And FYI, I also had purchased the 4 year service contract. I felt like I was getting the run around even after getting the service contract. I decided to call one more time. Then, they promptly sent me a return label. They asked for a photo of the package that was ready to be shipped. Did that. Within a day of them receiving the returned unit, they sent me a new unit. This one seems to be working well.

I ordered the stick of flow that comes with the portable 400 W solar panel when I arrived home and my delivery was supposed to be on the front porch and it wasn’t there. I think it got stolen. I wrote right away to customer support and they Send me a replacement without any hassle having great customer support especially an expensive item like those is great. I strongly recommend doing business with them. As the Ecoflow itself I am very satisfied, even though It is a pricey, eat them when you’re strongly needs it. It won’t let you down. It is very easy to use, and it has a lot of intuitive features. We use it as a generator to renovate our house. It powered everything we threw at it without the problem. I think in the near future, I will purchase a second one with the adaptor of to get 220 V and power the whole house in the event of our power outage I really love this product and I strongly recommend

Charge quick, well built and lots of options

The Ecflow Pro works great, we took it for our first test. We use the 30 amp plug right into our trailer and it ran every thing fine. But the 400 Watt portable solar panel need to be set up perfectly at the sun for it to get 250 to 320 watts. I noticed as soon as it gets cloudy just a little bit it shoots down to zero. It needs full sun for it to charge. I wonder if it was still charging a little bit? Just the app wasn't picking it up. Never ran out of power. I'm going to end up buying four more 100 watt panels from Coleman or something and wire them together to give me 800 watts. And see how that works. We ran it down to about 60% and with the solar panel on a great day it took about 6 hours to fully charge. I do recommend this product best on the market so far.

This unit is not holding the ajmount of charge as they claim. I have done a few tests with lack luster results just running a 5 foot freezer. Email support goes unanswered about the lack of power this is supposed to hold

I only have a 30 amp Service in the park. I can plug in my microwave and another device into this unit that of which both use a total 15 amps. I charge the unit at 3.5 amps 24/7. The key is we use the microwave and another device only as needed during the day.
