I've had tons of fun on this thing. I weigh around 200 lbs and it can go up hills, and rough yard areas, etc. and get me around the property. Being over 40 now, I primarily use it to run around and grab a tool from the shed and back over to whatever project im working, on, go grab the mail, etc. but some days it is just fun to go ride. I did some rough testing and I'd say you'll get about 45 minutes (at my weight anyway) per battery charge with the two 7.5 amp hour batteries. Which I think is still great and usually about the time I need to take a break. It has pretty decent shocks on it, I like the bulky type tire because it works perfect for my rough yard (new house with yard still work in progress) and its just super easy to hop on, turn the key, push the ready button and take off. Balance is the same as riding any other bike and best of all, so is the noise level which is zero lol. I love that probably the most, I can enjoy the woods, trails, etc even more because you can talk to each other while riding easily, stop and talk without powering off, just tons of benefits to having this little bike. Have had zero issue with it since I bought it about 6-7 months ago and its easy to maintain it looks like, basically just have to dust it a bit every now and then and spray the mud off and its good to go. The extra battery compartment in the middle by the way is super nice because you can actually get that FULL 45 minutes of riding in because you can go until your main two batteries die and then throw a spare one in there to get you back to the house. Super happy I got this, its well made and worth the money and if you have other EGO tools then the batteries that come with it at a discount are excellent to have as well.

Bought this last summer for 1,900 and love it. Could not be better packed. Now $600 more due to the tariffs.

Super solid built, like extremely well. Few accidents later and like nothing happened. Worth every penny.

This lovely scooter was received in pristine condition. Not a scratch, due to armor packaging. It’s a big toy for someone who won’t grow up. I love just looking at it. Very well built. Ego delights it’s customers.

I am 5'9 and 175 lbs, and this minibike does very well on the varying terrain and hills of the Forest Service roads around my area. Plenty of power for hill climbs, and the hydraulic disc brakes provide excellent stopping power. With the provided 7.5AH batteries, you can realistically expect 15 miles of range on uneven or rough trails. It seems to go for about slightly over an hour of ride time whatever trail I'm riding on before the batteries are empty. The spare battery compartment comes in handy for that emergency "last 2 miles" to the truck, I have a spare 5AH that will provide about 3 miles extra. The bike weighs 160 lbs, and just fits into my Chevy Colorado truck bed with the tailgate shut. Just as fun on pavement but be aware this is not street legal in most areas. Charging using the dual charger takes about 90 minutes to fill up the 7.5AH batteries for another ride. So much fun!

Click to play video bought this for our 11 year old daughter who is a professional rider. she was instantly tearing up the streets and trails. the sizing of this bike is perfect, she can handle it and she's 70lbs (though it's not reccomended for her age or size) and both my wife and I are also perfectly suited. I'm 6ft 190lbs and I love it and feel fine riding it. the build quality is amazing, super solid. I can find no flaws with it. make sure you read the manual and find the switch beneath the seat to allow it to ride in sport mode. as default, it is switched off.

I am only writing this review to give a quick comparison with the greenworks mini bike. Both are great little bikes, you can get a bigger battery for the ego so better potential range. Greenworks has a more laid back, feet forward, cruiser type seating position. The Ego is more feet right under you type position so easier to stand on pegs, but a bit cramped for me and I am 5’10”. The greenworks has a fatter tire and does better on loose gravel and sand. Ego has a but narrow, yet more aggressive tire better for mud and rocky trails. Both are amazing bikes but wanted to help anyone struggling to decide between the two. My 12 and 15 year old boys each prefer different bikes which works out great for us since we have both. Personally i prefer the greenworks for the comfort. Hope this helped.

I love this mini bike! It's perfect for zipping around my 40 acres at 9500'. Batteries charge quickly. It handles steep inclines well. Only get about 12 miles in sport mode though. I like how the battery and spare battery compartments require a key to open.
