Best lawn mower I've ever owned! The self-propelled technology is super intuitive, making mowing almost effortless. It delivers a clean, precise cut, and the battery life is phenomenal—covering my whole yard with plenty to spare. Quiet, efficient, and reliable. Couldn't be happier! It takes me 45 mins to mow my lawn and doesn't even use half the battery.

I purchased this unit to replace a gas powered one that served our needs for quite a few years. While the old machine did a great job with the grass and the leaves, the exhaust and gasoline smell was an ongoing issue that I never really liked. Not to mention the yearly oil changes and gas treatments required before the winter comes. After several months of research I narrowed down to the EGO mower after reading multiple reviews by other happy owners. And I was not disappointed. The mower arrived in a well packed big box, completely assembled, only requiring to straighten up the handle once out of the box. The unit is very light to move around, even with the respectable looking 7.5 Ah battery installed that came with it. Actually one person can easily move it with one hand when in use. The controls are relatively straightforward, once you spend a few minutes with the owner's manual to make sure how to operate it. It is self propelled and the forward speed can be adjusted as needed, or just push the mower without any help, being so light. Probably the battery life can be extended a bit if the forward motion is not used. I used this unit every day for the last week and it’s a pleasure to do yard work now. It is very quiet while in operation, allowing the owner to either listen to his/her favorite music or a good book. Very easy to adjust the cutting height using one lever and it cuts the grass or takes care of the leaves quickly and thoroughly. I initially tried the mulching insert with great results, but, eventually, I switched to the collecting bag because of the great amount of leaves I have on my lawn. The 7.5 Ah battery that came with the mower lasts probably close to an hour, although it is difficult to determine because of the numerous times one has to stop and empty the bag, especially when that person has a lot of trees around. Overall it is a great machine, easy to operate and cuts the grass as needed. Definitely worth having and a great replacement for a gasoline mower.

This mower is everything I hoped it would be. Cuts my really tough St. Augustine grass beautifully. The only thing that I don’t like is the tiny buttons to engage the drive. I find it hard to keep them depressed while turning or making any other maneuvers. Battery life has been great and the power is tremendous. Nice and quiet.

I just got my Ego mower and I took it for a spin in the back yard. Our lot is just shy of a half acre, mostly flat. The mower came with an extra battery that is smaller than the one that comes with the mower. I charged them both, but started with the smaller battery. There is a lot to mow around in my backyard so it took a while. I was really happy with the ease of using the self-propelled mower. I'm a retired lady without good upper arm strength but I had no trouble using the mower. Switching from going forward to stopping or going into self-propelled mode was effortless. I was just about done mowing the back yard when the self-propelled feature stopped working due to low battery power. I finished the back yard pushing manually. I swapped out batteries, this time using the bigger battery, and began mowing the front and side yards. The battery held up well and had plenty of charge left when I was done mowing. Next time I'll use the bigger battery for the back yard. It mulched the grass nicely and was easy to use. I've only done one round of mowing but it went really well.

I am renovating my front and back yards, and a good portion now is crab grass and weed. When I started to mow with my gas-powered mower. Old gas, carb plugged up so I bought this EGO mower. Best move I've made in a long time. I think timing is everything. This machine has developed far beyond any battery powered mower I have seen. Rugged, great battery life, 7.0-amp hours, ease of operation with 6 height adjustments with 1 handle to adjust all 4 wheels. On my gas mower I had to adjust one wheel at a time. This is the best mower by far...Battery or Gas. Buy this mower, you won't regret it!

I bought this mower w/charger & 12 amp battery included. We've cut about one of three acres of tall grass, about 10". The first cut brought the grasss to 7" and the second was done at 2". This is Oat grass, very dense and wet from recent rains. I can say the mover did well with the battery lasting 20-30 minutes and having the mower loading with wet, sticky grass. If it was more normal, there would no congestion and the batteries lasts much longer. I actually bought two more 12 amp after- market batteries & an extra charger. This way, the batteries can be rotated without waiting for recharge. I'm happy with the simple controls, light weight, stiff frame, quality construction and no hoping for the mower to start or gas to buy. It's different and it's better. The mower designers built in a lot of features that make it hard for the user to mess up, like ensuring that the handles are locked in place before allowing ignition. The mower is self-accelerating, so going up hill is easy and there is no effort required. The mower's indicator flashes RED when you're close to using up the battery. That gives me ample time to position the mower closer to my replacement battery supply or take the mower inside for the day under its own power.

Had an elderly Honda 53 which became rusty. I thought of a straight replacement as it had served me well. Which? referred me the Ego. I was pleasantly surprised to find a 53. It is about 10 kilos lighter which was a big plus as i grow old. The collection bucket seems to hold more than previous mower which saves time and mess. Little bit tricky to get accustomed to controls. I live on a slope and lawn is not straightforward but i find it easy and quick with the Ego. The battery easily copes. I have only used the Ego 5 times but so far seems an excellent purchase.
