I was rather skeptical of buying a mattress from Amazon, but I didn't want to pay 1000 - 2000 from a local place so decided to give this a shot. This replaced a 7 or 8 year old mattress that had a dead spot worn in the springs. I'm a big dude and this mattress was not only comfortable but supported me just fine. The description says give it twelve hours to finish expanding but it was done in probably an hour to it's full 14 inch height. The mattress seems like a very good quality. Id recommend putting it in place before opening it just to make it easy. It's firmer than I was expecting, but not in a bad way. It confirmed to me and the sleep was quite comfortable. We bought the king, and the mattress is a few inches wider/taller than our original king set. One thing I missed when looking this mattress over is that it is made in the US. I thought it was probably made in China considering most of the products on Amazon are mass produced there. Glad to be buying a product made here. I'll update the review in six months, but as of now id highly recommend getting this if you're a big dude like me and you need a mattress that will support you and let you sleep without issue.

I have bad lower back pains. I'm 52 and its beyond ludicrous to have my back pain this bad in life but as they say it is what it is. I bought this mattress as I have numerous others to include dreamcloud, nectar and posturepedic and a sterns and foster. The dreamcloud simply had no support on the sides and you could fall off it because of this. It also was so cushy and plush you had to pull yourself out of the bed where it folds around you. Sterns and foster was a regular spring mattress and overall just sucked in every way. The nectar was ok but failed to support my back in a positive way. The posturepedic was ok but again had the fold in feeling of the mattress creating a glove around you. This mattress? OMG is absolutely perfect. Its got decent side support and is not too firm and not to soft. Its just exactly what I've been hunting for. If you want a comfortable mattress with no strong oders and is very comfortable this is the mattress you want to grab up. The price is right, the mattress is very comfortable and has all around good support. Very very happy I made this choice. So today I came back to update my review of this mattress and today is 11/8/2023 and I bought this back in August. Still to this day I don't have a negative thing to say about it. My back pain I had has almost went completely away. Is it because of this mattress? I can't honestly say but I do know that it without a doubt helped tremendously. I just cannot say enough great things about this product, and NO I'm not being paid or offered anything by anyone for this review. Its just when a product and deal comes by me and works as well as this did for me, I want to tell the world about it. FANTASTIC PRODUCT........

So far I really like this mattress, nicely priced and it delivered three days early, unpacked it at noon, (packaging was very well done) and by bedtime that same day it was fully expanded and able to be slept on. It is a very nice looking, heavy mattress, I almost didn't want to cover the mattress with my fitted sheet it's that nice looking. The memory foam is very comfortable, I would say this mattress is more on the firm side, which is great for me, I needed something different than my old soft pillow top mattress. Even after the first night of sleep, I noticed my back pain had lessened (about 30%) and it's only getting better each night (I've had it 5 nights now) I haven't really noticed the "cooling" effect, but equally there is no heat effect as well, just a comfy night sleep. As of right now, I can say, I would recommend this mattress to friends and family, and if need be, would order in the future.

I will start by saying that I have always preferred a firm mattress, but I am getting older and I have arthritis in both of my shoulders (side sleeper) so I wanted to get a new mattress that was a little softer. I purchased this mattress because it is listed as "Medium" and I knew I wouldn't like a "Plush" mattress, but anyway here is my experience so far. 1.) removed mattress from bag and placed on my adjustable base, mattress perked right up and seemed to be almost fully expanded in 30 minutes, but I let it sit for about 30 hours before putting on a new mattress pad and sheets. 2.) I wanted to mention that there was no noticeable smell right out of the box, some reviews mentioned a bad odor but I did not have that at all. 3.) First night mattress was very firm, wasn't that comfortable on my side or on my back, but I did wake up the next day without shoulder pain, so that's good. 4.) After 7 nights the mattress seems a bit softer, and sleeping on my back is very comfortable now, but side sleeping is still pretty firm. (The reason for the 5th star missing right now) I read that it takes 30 to 60 days to break-in a new foam mattress, so I will see how it goes and come back to update this review after about 45 days, regardless of what happens I will be keeping the mattress, the price was very affordable and the mattress seems to be good quality, worst case I maybe try buying a soft topper to put on it. Iove it !!! I left it for 24 hours to take shape. I walked on it several times to condition the foam. Its firm but feels so good. I got the 14 inch one so my bed is pretty tall but it feels amazing on my back. No weird odors. Excellent quality for the price. Feels better then some of those expensive foam matresses. I love that its fiberglass free. Ive already taken a nap on it. Cant wait to sleep tonight. Ill update as time goes on but im so halpy eith this purchase.
