I'm impressed with the ELEGOO PLA Plus Filament! As an 3D printer enthusiast, I've tried numerous filaments from various brands, but this one stands out from the rest for its consistency and value! Also, a nod to the environmentally friendly cardboard spool! The quality of the filament is exceptional - it's incredibly consistent, with no noticeable variations in diameter or texture. This has resulted in flawless prints with excellent layer adhesion and minimal warping. The PLA+ material itself is stronger and more durable than regular PLA, with improved thermal stability and resistance to deformation. This makes it ideal for printing functional parts, prototypes, and models that require added strength and reliability. The 4KGs are a great value, providing plenty of material for large-scale prints or extended printing sessions. The packaging is also well-designed, with a secure and convenient storage system that keeps the filament clean and dry. Elegoo is my new GO TO when it comes to filaments. No let-downs yet! I have never had issues will Elegoo filament that werent caused by my own oversight. The filament prints flawlessly and the color always turnout vibrant. It feeds and retracts perfectly through the Creality CFS and prints without issue using the standard generic PLA profile on the K-2 Plus. Elegoo will always be my go to because of its great price and quality, reliable performance.

It's just good consistent Matte PLA+. Nothing fancy, no sparkling colors, no frills, but what it has is consistency that lets me get accurate sizes every time. It's also durable and less prone to cracking than regular PLA. Be sure to turn the heat up a little over regular PLA as well. I'm printing at 220 nozzle and 60 bed and that seems to give me perfect results. It's not even expensive so don't waste your money trying to save a couple dollars on cheaper stuff.

Compared to regular PLA, this PLA+ formulation is tougher and less brittle, making it ideal for functional parts like brackets, tools, and mechanical components. The 2-pack of 1KG spools is great for longer prints or bulk projects, and the filament feeds smoothly with a nice matte black finish that looks professional. One thing to note: Like all PLA+, it benefits from slightly higher temperatures (typically 210-230°C on the nozzle) compared to standard PLA. A heated bed (50-65°C) helps with adhesion, but it prints well on most surfaces. And here’s a quick joke: Why did the 3D printer apply for a job? Because it wanted to build a solid future layer by layer! After trying several filament brands over the years, this one has become my go-to. Print quality is good—clean layers, minimal stringing, and haven't had a single tangle. Bed adhesion is rock solid with just a standard heated bed It doesn’t snap or crack under light stress, which makes it a great all-purpose filament for both prototyping and functional parts. Color and finish are also consistent across prints. And considering the price, it’s a great value for the quality you’re getting

Spool did not come as shown. Was on a generic plastic spool with no label. It's also badly wound and keeps getting stuck. I doubt it's original Elegoo. Buyer beware.
