I love this product! It leaves my skin hydrated and soft like no other cleanser. My only issue is the price for the tiny size, but considering the quality, scent, and how it makes my skin feel, I will continue to buy it. The consistency is thick when you apply to dry skin, and begins to melt as you rub it in. Once full face is covered, you add water to hands and lather all over. It does not foam up like soap, but turns into a milky consistency, then you rinse and pat dry. Absolutely love it! Update: I broke down and decided to buy the bigger size (3.5 oz) and was on sale on Amazon. The bigger size although higher in price, costs less per oz than the small one I got (less than 1oz). Again, it was on sale when I got it so it was around $58. Worth every penny!

I LOVE this stuff for removing makeup off my mature (in my 50s) skin - no tugging, no pulling, no drying. I compare it to the clinique take the day off balm I used to use. I will say that the clinique one does a *bit* of a better job at totally removing every last bit of makeup, but it dried the heck out of my skin. This one leaves my skin soft and supple and gets 97% of the job done, and then I just touch up with some makeup remover micellar water. DEFINITE YES for mature skin!

The product is moisturizing and removes my face makeup. However, I notice that I still have eyemake up around my eyes after using this cleanser (I only use mascara and eyeliner and neither are waterproof). Maybe I need to use more product or scrub a little harder? But it hasn’t been fully removing my eye makeup but a second cleanse usually removes the rest. It doesn’t irritate my eyes, which is nice. I’m just not sure its worth it for the price.

Alright so I know this expensive but with subscribe and save you can save 15 percent, which is the best deal you can consistently get unless you want to stock up on prime days or Black Friday, which I do not because I’m trying to cut down on clutter. I have dry, sensitive skin and this balm/cleanser/mask is non negotiable in my routine. I use this as a hydrating mask in the mornings and then remove with a washcloth. Makes a huge difference in dry patches and the overall comfort of my face throughout the day. I had resilient, oily skin until I turned 35 so having this gem makes it easier for me to learn how to take care of my changing skin without feeling like it is too small for my skull. I wear tinted water resistant sunscreens and waterproof mascaras and this removes everything like a dream. I do give myself a little massage as the balm melts into my skin and then add water to rinse everything away. I have found that taking the time to massage the balm into an oil gets everything off my face and I do not need to double cleanse. Since I use this product as a 3 in 1 I find the price very reasonable and it cuts down on counter clutter. Subscribe and save gives a great year round discount. If you have reactive or dry skin, give this a shot and use all 3 functions to see how it works for you. I honestly wish I had tried this sooner.

I've been using this product for several months now and was happy to see it on sale. This cleansing balm goes on like a balm and as you rub it changes to more of a cream. It takes off the last traces of makeup and leaves my skin feeling clean but not stripped. It is very calming to my skin, it hydrates and feels luxurious to use. The scent is not strong and I find it nice. It washes off with a little warm water and leaves your feeling moisturized. I have sensitive, normal to dry skin and think this product is perfect for that skin type. I recommend this product.

After decades as a cold cream diehard, I've become a cleansing balm convert. and while I've tried all types, including some super pricey cult brands, I keep coming back to the Elemis, though the Emma Hardie Moringa is a close second. The Elemis pro-collagen line is, in general, one of my favorite in all of skincare, and this balm smells like sunshine and leaves skin feeling, soft, supple and throughly clean. It doesn't leave any residue, and removes every trace of makeup, oil and dirt. Perfect for a double cleansing routine (balm first, then a gel or cream cleanser) when you're feeling especially grimy, used a silicone-based primer, or any type of waterproof makeup. The magic of a balm is that it turns to an oil texture as you rub it into skin. It's a cleanser that feels like a spa treatment. Apply and rub in circles, then drape a steaming hot towel over your face to open up pores and enhance the balm's floral scent even more. If you're shorter on time you can just rinse or wipe off, but either way it always feels like a treat for your skin and a mini-meditation at the end of every day, which is how I justify the high price point. Just love this stuff, which is why I keep coming back.
