Things felt set in just a few minutes, but it is important to wait 24 hours before wearing the shoes again. I was happy to see the glue held up even after walking in the rain. With regular glue, my shoes would fall apart again when they got wet, but this one handled the water just fine. Good value and highly effective.

Ich hatte eine aufgebrochene Sneaker-Sohle und leicht abgelöste Lederkappen an meinen Stiefeln – beides war mit einer Tube in weniger als 15 Minuten erledigt. Die transparente Formulierung trocknet farb- und nahezu geruchlos, sodass keine unschönen Kleberänder zurückbleiben. Besonders praktisch finde ich die feine Dosierspitze: Sie erlaubt millimetergenaues Arbeiten selbst an schmalen High-Heel-Rändern. Der Kleber verteilt sich gleichmäßig, läuft nicht weg und bleibt dabei elastisch genug, um Bewegungen der Sohle aufzufangen – ein wichtiger Vorteil gegenüber spröder, spritzverklebter Konkurrenz. Item received in good condition in a branded box. What is it with young children and trainers where they just seem to destroy them so quickly. Our twins had new trainers for nursery only six weeks ago and already they both had the front part of the trainer sole peeling off. They are just so hard on their shoes and must drag there toes when playing that has caused this. Not wanting to throw away brand new shoes because of this I thought I would try the shoe glue to see if that would work. I really like how the kit comes with all the different tools to try and help repair your shoes. The abrasive stick worked great at ruffing up the material ready to re stick the rubber sole to it. The glue was simple to dispense and apply just where I wanted it. Once the sole was in place the rubber band was applied which actually worked great and held the sole in place where required and I repeated exactly the same for four shoes. The end result was the sole being perfectly re stuck into position and the trainers look as good as new again. Not only that a week later and the sole is still stuck perfectly and no signs of it coming away as yet. The glue does exactly what it is intended for and has repaired brand new shoes and saved us replacing them straight away. Great value for money as there is plenty of glue left in the bottle so if they do need another repair we are ready to fix straight away.
