Very real story. My fiancée and I were on a roadtrip. After getting ready to leave a gas station, I stepped outside the car to do a couple of leg stretches. We hit the road and I begin to fall asleep, and after 5 minutes I notice my phone is missing. We check Life360 to make sure I didn’t leave the phone at the gas station, and verified that the phone was traveling in the car, so surely the phone fell in the cracks somewhere. I resume to fall asleep, then in a moment of revelation, I exclaim expletives. “Pull over very slowly.” I asked my fiancée. Yes, the phone was sitting on top of the car, placed there after stretching my hamstrings. There was no reason for me to buy this case, other than the exciting prospect of using MagSafe products like a wireless charger (woo). It’s been 3 months and I still have no MagSafe accessories. Yet, despite my unrealized aspirations, this case met its purchase value by protecting and saving my phone, and a little of my pride. Worth the price tag.

I have 3 phones and ESR Cases on each of them. The cases themselves aren't anything too crazy, but they are consistent. I know that they will protect my phone, the new ones for the iPhone 16 pro have capacitive passthrough for the camera button and the magnets are always the strongest on an ESR case. Honestly, I really buy these because the pricepoint is great and the magnets are strong. I use a peak design MagSafe wallet and always use MagSafe battery packs and chargers so the most important thing to me is the magnet strength. I havent gotten any scratches on the back of the case and usually dont (but I also keep my keys clipped on my pants belt loop and not in my pocket). They can get a bit greasy feeling if you dont wipe them off every now and then but honestly just give it a quick wipe and it's like new again. Can't go wrong with these.
