This is an initial review of this ice maker but if any surprises come along, it will updated: I unboxed the ice maker, put in 4-5 cups of bottle drinking water, and ran the cleaning cycle twice. I then drained that water out and refilled with fresh bottled drinking water. I turned the ice making cycle on and was worried, as a stream of water poured out the ice chute!😮 I just left it alone and in about 6-7 minutes, it started making ice (with no more water stream)! I will say that this unit is MUCH smaller and quieter than our previous Frigidaire unit that died after 1.5 years. The nugget ice that this unit makes is also "softer" than our previoys unit. Needless to say that so far, I am impressed!

Makes ice so quickly and isn't loud while running. Extremely easy to clean. Very very happy with this ice maker. Wish I had gotten it long ago.

This little ice maker has proven to be dependable, and performs as advertised. I don’t use a lot of ice, but my Samsung refrigerator has a notoriously unreliable ice maker. Rather than pay for an expensive ( and reportedly, ineffective) replacement, I purchased this little portable. The machine produces about 10 ice cubes every six minutes, as promised. The water reservoir holds about a liter of water, so producing a days worth of ice requires frequent refilling of the reservoir. Since the cubes themselves are hollow they melt pretty quickly, both in the ice basket and in a drink. But that isn’t really a major issue. I use my freezer’s ice dispenser bin to hold my supply of cubes, and that works for me.

Love this little ice maker. It makes ice quicker than waiting for it to freeze in the freezer I use bottled water for my ice. No problems with it so far. Noise level is low to medium but nothing bad.

Makes ice after it has been made needs to be transferred into freezer or something cold ice maker doesn’t keep the ice frozen

we’ve had this ice maker for a few months now and it works wonderful. However, my only complaint would be the ice melts much quicker than ice cubes made in the freezer, but that is to be expected since the ice cubes are being made so quickly! Perfect and convenient on the countertop looks great with other appliances!
