I've been recently tried this butter to help ease discomfort before I pump, and it's made a noticeable difference. As a pharmacist, I'm incredibly particular about the ingredients in products, especially when they concern my baby. This butter has been a fantastic find because it works well and has a formulation I feel genuinely good about. Pros: Pharmacist-Approved Peace of Mind: The biggest win for me is the ingredient list. It's organic, lanolin-free, and doesn't contain anything I'd be concerned about my baby ingesting. Knowing this allows me to use it without worry, which is invaluable. Effective Pre-Pump Comfort: It really does soothe my nipples and makes the skin feel more supple and prepared for pumping. I've found it reduces that initial friction and discomfort significantly. Nice, Gentle Texture: The butter applies smoothly and isn't overly greasy or sticky. A small amount covers well, so the jar feels like it will last a reasonable amount of time. No Apparent Issues for Baby: My little one hasn't shown any aversion or reaction when I've used this, which is always a primary concern. Cons: Natural Scent Profile: It has a very natural, somewhat herbal scent from the organic ingredients. It's not an artificial or perfumey smell, but it is distinct. I got used to it quickly, and it doesn't bother me, but if you're extremely sensitive to plant-based aromas, it's something to note. Jar Packaging Preference: This is a minor point, but personally, I sometimes find tubs a little less convenient than a squeeze tube, especially if I'm trying to apply it quickly with one hand. However, this is just a small personal preference on the packaging style. Overall, I'm very pleased with this nipple butter. It provides the soothing I was looking for and, most importantly, meets my high standards for safe, baby-friendly ingredients. I’d happily recommend it to other nursing parents, especially those who are ingredient-conscious.

I love this stuff so much. I bought it 2 years ago with my first baby and it was wonderful on my nipples as a new breast feeding mama. Soothed my nipples and kept them hydrated. Since then, I’ve used it on chapped lips, Irritated skin, and most recently (inspiring this review) on my toddlers scaly fungal infection. She got a fungal spot pretty small on her head and the meds the dr prescribed along with the build up from the infection caused her hair to fall out there. For months I’ve tried the stuff the dr gave us to clear the gunk away. I then Decided to give the nipple butter a try… and the day i put it on half the stuff gently fell right off. I can finally see her clear scalp. I didn’t have to scrub or anything just gently rubbed it on and now my girls hair is growing back! To clarify.. her hair is growing back because the butter got rid of the caked on gunk that kept pulling her hair out. Quicker and easier than the things the dr gave us. This stuff is great. Buy it for all your needs.

I’ve tried everything on the market for sore, cracked, and bleeding nipples, lanolin creams, silver nursing cups, you name it, and nothing worked like Earth Mama Nipple Butter. This stuff is an absolute lifesaver. Within just a couple of uses, I noticed a huge difference. It’s thick, soothing, and deeply moisturizing, but not sticky or greasy like some other creams. And the best part? It actually works, it helped heal my skin faster than anything else, and it’s completely safe for baby, so I didn’t have to wipe it off before nursing. Honestly, it’s so much better than lanolin, which always felt heavy and never truly relieved the pain. Even the silver nursing cups didn’t give me the same comfort this little jar did. Bonus: it makes an amazing lip balm too! I started keeping it in my bag because it works so well on dry lips and cuticles. If you're struggling and feel like you've tried it all, give this a shot. I wish I had found it sooner!

Very soothing and moisturizing. It has a very subtle but nice smell from the ingredients. I get the product out with my knuckle but I do think I’ll need a scraper once I get to the bottom of the product, but they do have a different container they sell that you can squeeze product out instead. I love the formula. I have had no issues with cracking or irritation and I’ve been using this since the beginning of my third trimester, I’m now two weeks PP. Overall I am very happy with this purchase, I’d recommend this to any new mom!

Love the fact that it's safe for baby to swallow. Considering I'm a first time mum and doing exclusive breastfeeding and my little one hates the bottle... so I literally nurse her all day. Having this mama earth nipple cream has made it quite an easy journey. Would recommend.

The butter works very well, leaving a small protective and moisturizing film on the nipples. It has a grainy texture but it dissolves when applied. I have to use a nursing pad as it leaves a residue.

Before my daughter was born, I thought I would just use coconut oil or breastmilk. My sore, aching, cracked nipples said otherwise. I tried lanolin but didn't really like it - it was very sticky, and didn't offer much relief. Plus, I didn't think it was all that nice for baby to suck on. This butter is just excellent - it is gentle, and moisturizing, and smells nice, and offers a lot of comfort to a mama in pain who is determined to push through that hard stage to keep on nursing. I applied this after nursing or after showering, and then covered my nipples with a little piece of saran wrap. The combination meant I could wear a bra without pain between nursing and "airing out" sessions, and I felt I healed faster using the combo. The packaging also indicates you can use as a lip balm, cuticle cream - also excellent for these purposes. Though the container seems small, a little goes a long, long way. I've got about 3/4 of the container left, and my daughter is 4 months old.

This product was a lifesaver! It really enables sore nipples to feel better quickly and baby does not even notice it’s on. I would recommend this to everyone.
