The 5.5-inch screen provides vibrant colors and sharp visuals, making it enjoyable to watch videos, view photos, and even make video calls with friends and family. I love this thing and so does my girlfriend. Use it as a mini TV, use it as an alarm clock , use it as a music speaker or use it as a mini computer to look things up on google. It can even be used with your Amazon account to open up the camera and see inside the room you have it set up in , to check in on the surroundings. I use it to check on my animals throughout the day, but could easily be used to check in on kids or loved ones. It is easy to set up, and with the adjustable base stand it can be angled to whatever degree you want for the best angle on the screen. I really want another one of these and it was worth the money. It was also surprisingly cheap… you can also shut the camera off manually with a little sliding bar that blocks the camera physically I think. So that’s also very nice

I bought this for my parents to have in their new home. They like to listen to music, but needed something simple that wouldn't take up a lot of room. They love the ability to just ask to play a particular style of music, or a specific artist or radio station, the ability to get the weather forecast and outside temperature so my dad knows whether to pack an extra jacket for golf, and setting reminders and alarms for themselves. They have this in the corner of the kitchen and they use it every day. Once I was able to set it up for them, it's pretty easy to use. It's small but puts out high end sound. I've had other family members see it and ended up buying one for themselves.

Small and powerful sound. I also bought the Echo Dot to combine for sound around the house. Easy to set up and personalize. Surprised how greta it sounds. Will it work for a big party, probably not, but for everyday listening and controlling smart devices this is great!

I bought this because it works with my Mom's New Alexa Powered Microwave. She is losing her eyesight. She needs to be able to talk to the appliance. I thought this would be great and display the time in a extra large font for her. Nope it does what it wants and displays constant advertising. But, it's Amazon... what should I expect? Something as good as Google Home. Nope. But, at least she can run the microwave with this device. So I give 4 stars.
