The item came quickly, within a few days. The packaging was such that there was no way this item could have been damaged in transit. That being said, I am often seeing items repackaged in boxes that are much larger than necessary. This was no exception, however, this is, to me, a general issue and not just specific to this company. The item is easy to use, efficient and not really loud at all. Most kids toys are much louder than this machine. I opted for the yellow, not only for the extra discounted price, but it would also be easy to find once I put it down. Great product and I have to say that, so far, I am in agreement with the many positive reviews I read prior to purchase.

I have used this for boiling hot soup straight into the jar, boiled up my old reused lids and all worked well. It is so nice to have them last so long and just open a quart as needed, Of course it isn't canned, but isn't as much trouble as canning either and I store them in a cold place. It is quick and easy very handy.

I purchased this for my sister in law. She sometimes purchases dry items in bulk, and splits it up into canning jars for long term storage. While I didn't get to use the item myself, I'll convey what she told me. First of all, you'll have to charge it via a USB C (? check the description) cable & power supply before you use it. It fits regular canning jars, and larger mouth canning jars by removing the bottom piece. She used it on larger jars to store corn meal that originally came in a several gallon bucket. As to how well it worked, she said "it works great!". She did not mention how long it takes, or anything about cleaning. Most importantly, if she's happy, I'm happy.

I have just received this machine and I really can't stop playing with it. It works a treat and does exactly as it says on the box, can't tell about the longevity but certainly seems to be well manufactured. I would highly recommend as I'm sure it will extend the storage life of many of my products.

This was the most amazing sealer. I could seal jars as they needed to be sealed. I loved not having to pull out the big machine, and attach the hose to the attachments. I easily sealed wide mouth and regular size canning jars at least 100 times in the first month using it and then it decided it just didn't like the regular size lids and just stopped sealing them. I would use new lids, different jars, and no luck. I tried it even after a full recharge thinking maybe low power was a problem. Nada. Something has malfunctioned with the regular lid portion of the sealer. The wide mouth works fine but I am disappointed. I had hoped to be able to use this for many years...not just a few weeks. It also is rather slow, but I pop the sealer on while I'm busy doing other things...if I have to wait for each jar to seal I do get a bit frustrated. That being said I would trade slow over not working at all. I also dropped a star rating because while it is really easy to use right out of the box, it is sometimes a wrestling match to remove it from the jar which could provide difficulty for some people. EDIT: 3 days after the previous review the wide mouth sealing portion also quit. Now its just an expensive piece of trash.

This thing is fantastic for getting the air out of your mason jars. A little bit overpriced but saves a lot of time
