First off, the hardware is top-notch. The buttons are easy to press and have a nice illuminated design. The tactile dials are a brilliant addition, and their ability to both turn and be pressed for functions like muting or switching inputs is fantastic. The interactive touch screen above the dials works seamlessly and adds a clean and modern touch to the device. The solid stand with a rubber grip ensures it stays firmly in place on your desk. The angle of the stand is just right, giving you a clear view of the Stream Deck+ without requiring an additional stand. Plus, the USB cord is conveniently designed for easy plug-in. Now, let's talk software. While there might be a learning curve, the effort is absolutely worth it. The Stream Deck software and the accompanying Wave Link software provide immense customization options. You can make this device work exactly the way you want it to. Whether you're using it as a controller for specific applications or for various tasks, the customization options are limitless. You can change the look of your Stream Deck+ and fine-tune how individual buttons function, such as launching apps, adjusting volumes, starting streams, and more. I must emphasize that the Elgato Stream Deck+ is not just for streamers. I personally use it for various tasks, including volume control, productivity, and even gaming. It's a versatile powerhouse that caters to a wide range of needs. In summary, if you're contemplating getting the Elgato Stream Deck+, do it without hesitation. It's a premium device that delivers on all fronts. Whether you're a content creator, gamer, or simply someone who values efficient control over your digital tasks, this device has it all and more. It's a true game changer, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone seeking a versatile and powerful control solution.

The Elgato Stream Deck + is a game-changer for anyone serious about streaming, content creation, or just looking to enhance their computer setup with more buttons and dials. This device is incredibly versatile and easy to set up, making it an essential part of my daily workflow. The customizable buttons and knobs allow for endless possibilities, from launching apps and controlling audio to automating complex tasks with just a tap. The build quality is top-notch, with responsive buttons and a sleek design that looks great on any desk. The added touchscreen and rotary knobs are a fantastic addition, giving you more control and customization options than ever before. It’s especially useful if you’ve ever wished you had more physical controls at your fingertips, whether for streaming, video editing, or just managing multiple tasks on your computer. It integrates seamlessly with popular streaming software like OBS and Twitch, and also works great with tools like Photoshop, Premiere Pro, and even basic desktop functions. The Stream Deck + has saved me so much time during streams and editing sessions, and it’s a joy to use for day-to-day tasks as well. Whether you’re a seasoned pro, a content creator, or simply someone who wants more buttons and dials to streamline your computer use, this is a tool that will elevate your setup and make your work so much easier. Highly recommended!

This thing is fantastic. Build quality is good, you can do seemingly whatever you want with it. There's actually a noise suppression filter in OBS that I sometimes want to turn off. Now I can do it with the click of a button. Amazing. You can spam a bunch of emojis with the press of a button. You can use it as a controller for Flight Sims or other video games. You can tell that this is a product with years of development behind it.

I would really give this more like 3.5 stars. I got this to supplement my Stream Deck mk. 2 as I was starting to use a lot of folders and it was getting cumbersome to manage during streams. As a secondary Stream Deck, I think it's very handy to have, but I don't think I would like it as much if it was the only Stream Deck I own. First, the good things. It is quite a bit heavier than the standard Stream Deck which means that it actually stays put when I press buttons. I have a desk mat that these sit on and with the regular Stream Deck, I have to hold it in place while I press buttons to keep it from sliding around and it is rather annoying. The buttons are also larger than the regular Stream Deck, which makes them easier to see and read. With the addition of knobs, I can consolidate three buttons (volume up, volume down, and mute) to a single knob, which saves a lot of space. The touch pad frees up buttons that would otherwise be used for page navigation, which is handy. And while I find it annoying that specific hardware is required for this at all, this does unlock the Wave Link software, which is superior (IMO) to things like Voicemeeter, so that is very handy. However, the knobs aren't very flexible. For example, I have one set to control the music (a VLC source) in OBS, but both the knob push and the touch panel tap are set to mute it and there is no way to change either. I would like it if the tap muted but the press toggled between two set volume levels. You also can't easily change the icons above the knobs like you can with buttons, nor can you have the icon toggle between two custom looks like with buttons. There's also an argument to be made that knobs are really not that necessary to begin with. Almost everything I would set to a knob is something I set once and then forget about, so there's really no need to devote so much physical space to something I'll never touch again. While it's nice for legibility that the buttons are bigger, this also means there are only 4 across instead of 5. Maybe they did this for the aesthetic, but they could easily have fit two more buttons on this. The screen also seems to have a different color temperature than the one in the regular Stream Deck, so my icons have a noticeable yellow tint by comparison. A nitpick, sure, but annoying nonetheless. And finally, it's just really large for what it is. It makes a bit more sense now that there are dock attachments, but it still takes up a lot of space. You could probably fit an entire Stream Deck XL in the same footprint. Also, and this is really a Wave Link nitpick but since the whole idea of this device is that you don't need a Wave mic or interface, they really need to add a mono downmix feature to the inputs in Wave Link. I know that Elgato has said this is an interface problem and they are technically correct, but since nearly every audio interface for the past few decades operates like this on Windows, the onus really is on Elgato, not the hardware makers, to provide a solution. All in all, it's a good device and I will be keeping it. It just has a lot of room for improvement and most of these complaints have existed since it launched.

I have been using Elgato products for years. From other smaller/ larger Stream Decks to Stream Deck mobile and this continues to be one of my favorites. I love the dials especially. Being able to control the volume of certain things on my stream is important to me. It has all the features. From Multi-stacking actions with a click of a button. I can start streaming, send a tweet to my followers, let people on TikTok know I am live and can set my opening scene and mute my microphone as I forget to do things sometimes. Also, like other Elgato products the tactile feel of the buttons and the knobs are well made, and have a nice click to them. The profile in my picture is the bare bones profile I set up to take the picture as to not leak my stream setup etc. But! I love the fact that the buttons are are customizable and so are the knobs. You can have any background to the touch screen as well. Either putting your own media or premade options form the Elgato store. One thing that sets this apart from others is the fact that you can swap between screens with just the slide of a finger on the touch screen. No more having to make arrow keys back and forth from one page to the next. The other thing I love about this product that has me using it over others is the fact that it comes with the Wave Link Software. Being able to control your entire volume setup without the need for a physical audio mixer is wonderful. As someone who has a USB HyperX Mic, it makes me happy that I can use this software with my devices. I would highly recommend the Stream Deck+ to anyone wanting an audio mixer and a Stream Deck for a decent price!

Absolutely loving this Stream Deck. I honestly think it's the best gadget I have purchased in 2024. Very flexible, good hardware, decent software, and lots of plugin support. I wish it was able to control other electronic items, such as AC, washing machines, etc. Or maybe, I haven't searched hard enough for the required plugins...

Where to start with this? So, it takes a bit of time to figure out the best use cases and how to make it do what you want it to do, but it is an absolute game changer when you get it figured out and dialled in. I work from home and spend a lot of time in Teams/Zooms calls and a lot of that is for presentations and training - I'm honestly wondering how I managed before I got this thing and that's before I take into account the XLR input, which honestly makes it worth it on its own. My initial experience with it was a bit of a mixed bag. It's easy to add to your PC out of the box, and the Stream Deck store is super helpful and useful. Like all new things you have to figure them out and I didn't find it enormously intuitive, but once you get over the initial teething issues this thing (and its big brother the XL) is a beast. Using it is a positive experience, the buttons have a great feel to them, the swipe panel is handy and the multi-function knobs are great - they feel awesome, and their ability to both turn and be pressed for functions like muting or switching inputs is fantastic, especially if you need to change audio feeds on the fly. Now lets talk about the clever bit - I use a Shure XLR mike and I've experimented with a couple of different phantom power solutions, but they took up a ton of space and honestly the results were a bit hit and miss - and you can see that my desktop is a pretty crowded place. Pop the XLR dock into the back and suddenly not only have a freed up a bit of real estate but, and this is the good bit, it just works... (once you've updated to the latest version of the app). Need to adjust your mic gain - add a gain control to any of the open dials, need to mute yourself - assign a button or a dial.
