It is easy to set up and use. The ELMO doesn’t take up much room on my desk at home and folds up to 3 in. H by 13 in. L when not in use. A USB cable is included, which is all you need to connect to a laptop. It can zoom in by bending the camera, automatically focuses, and you can take pictures of notes/presentation pages. That’s a wow factor for me. The ELMO is a great useful tool while teaching in a virtual conference format. Excellent price, too.

It has no working LED light, and the site to download software isn’t up to date so my school’s protection program won’t let me access it. Very disappointed!!

I am a teacher and needed this for my Mac Desktop for instruction. Kids can see math problems on the white board, and it serves its purpose when modeling math problems. However, it does not work well when using worksheets or books. It only rotates in two directions, and the images of words and numbers are fuzzy/blurry. The screen looks like old televisions sets that used antennas; I cannot get a clear picture. I originally bought this because I was told, by a rep, that an app was not needed for this. However, when using a Mac, you have to use Google Chrome as your browser and then set up Imagemate. It is not user-friendly considering I use Safari as my browser, and I have to use Imagemate vs. just turning the Elmo on. It is over-priced for the limitations. The value would be better at $99.00. Do not buy this if you plan on sharing books or worksheets.
