The scent is unforgettably. It is the perfect masculine fragrance for men.

Shipment through Amazon was fast. We love the fragrance-not too sweet-not overpowering but gentle-just right for Papa Bear who's really fussy. It started as a gift from a friend in London several years ago. So glad we were obtain it from Amazon.

A nice subtle and fresh scent I like it obviously although smell is a very personal thing Most comment on how nice it smells rather than I smell like a tarts knickers draw So that's a plus. To me it has a classic classy quality about it and I dont know many That have heard of it let alone use it so it's quite individual to. My other is issy miyake and this isn't far off that scent profile and at a 3rd of the price Beats most on the in the 40 to fifty pound range hands down and it you add the uniqueness It's well worth a try. Again smell is personal but even if it's not your new favourite for under £15 It will do nicely as an everyday and saves you expensive for best

A pleasant smelling traditional cologne with creamy citrus and herbs. It’s very subtle and discreet. For the price it’s a good deal. I’ve seen it compared to Acqua Di Parma Colonia, but personally I don’t see much similarity except that it’s a traditional citrus and herbs scent. EDIT: After a couple of months of use I’m growing to like this even more. It is really very nice indeed.

James Bronnley has been a high quality offering for male buyers who like a traditional brand that straddles the boundary between affordable and higher priced options for some years now. It hasn't changed greatly in that time -a classic, citrus / chypre offering with a medium-length longevity and something of the old-fashioned, high-end barber shop in its balance of citrus, wood and spice notes. Somebody once said they could see it as a scent James Bond would wear, and you can see why -it's very 'British', with an image that would sit well with country houses, Bentley, quality suits and mechanical watches. Supplied in an attractive, understated spray bottle with simple label and equally simple outer shipping box, it doesn't shout about anything in particular, just works well, exactly as Bronnley intended. In 2023 it's not quite the high-value item it originally was -the price is just that bit above 'budget' without being 'expensive', but is still well worth considering if you want something different from the usual run. It's biggest 'problem' is arguably from Bronnley's own stable: the evergreen English Fern, which costs roughly the same for substantially more (albeit not in EDT form), and is unquestionably one of the all-time great scents. English Fern is my own 'default' / signature scent, but I try to have a bottle of James Bronnley on the shelf too for when I feel like a change, while maintaining the same slightly 'traditional', sophisticated feel. Highly recommended.
