I have a Taylor acoustic. It never quite gave me the sound I wanted. I adjusted the truss rod to lower the action. That made playing more comfortable, but didn’t drastically improve the sound. I’ve also tried three other guitar string brands with different gauges. Each time, I was slightly disappointed after putting them on and tuning. After a bit of research and reading reviews, I decided to give the Ernie Ball Rock & Blues strings a go. The only thing I can say is wow! My Taylor now sounds like I always thought it should. I really cannot believe that after all of the tinkering and trial/error over years, these guitar strings brought out the sound. I will use these on any acoustic guitar I ever own. Great job, Ernie Ball - thank you!

I like these strings on most of my acoustic guitars. They play well, and sound good. I took one star off because the G string in this particular set immediately broke at the ball winding while I was installing them. Just a defect which does happen with all strings, but this was inconvenient for me this time. Otherwise, good strings.

I've played Ernie Ball strings exclusively since 1981. Every time I've used another brand of strings I've been disappointed, not only in tone, but especially in durability. When I purchased a 12-string acoustic, the choice of replacement strings was already decided.

Strings feel good and has a nice tone on my guitar, haven't played them enough yet to tell how long they will last but as they are 80/20's I expect to get slightly shorter life than other alloys and/or coated strings.

I've been using Ernie Ball's Earthwood Rock N Blues Strings for over a year as of the time of writing this review. I'll get straight to the point - > Absolutely great for the price. Ernie Ball's never disappoint. > The G string does sometimes tend to lose it's tuning faster than other strings. But any good guitarist knows to tune their guitar before playing, everytime. So it should be fine for most players. > These strings are made for rock and blues playing, so string bending, vibrato, etc. are a breeze, but at the same time, the tone isn't the same as what folk/country/most pop songs may sound like. So if you're not a blues & rock person, this may not be the tone you're looking for. > If you're a beginner, you can definitely try these strings. Barring chords might be slightly easier. And you might fall in love with the Blues.

Estaba buscando un tamaño, un poco más pequeño, generalmente yo compro las Light, pero como no tenían decidí comprar estas y no decepcionan. El tamaño es muy similar y la textura me gusta

No heavy playing, very casual maybe 3 times a week (it was even drop tuned so not under full tension) and two strings just snapped after 4 months. Also, stiffened up really quick, tone dropped after just 2 months

I normally go for Elixirs but they are getting a little pricey these days . Coated strings do last longer but don't have that pure brassy tone . Ok you have to change your strings more often but pricewise and tonewise these Earthwoods are worth the hassle .
