Worked great on my Dean acoustic electric guitar, and have to say they were easy to tune and got them for a great price and very durable ! Will definitely recommend to other musicians !

I have been playing mostly acoustic guitar for the past couple of years but I dug out an old electric and started playing it and decided to get some new strings for it. I'm a fan of Ernie Ball Purple Slinkies 11-48 and I almost bought those again but saw these Ernie Ball Purple RPS on sale so I thought I'd try them. I didn't realize how "dead" the strings I was playing had gotten until I switched. My old slinkies were still holding a tune but I'm really glad I bought a new set. After a couple of years sitting around they were quite grungy when I took them off and this new set has really lit up the sound and made the guitar much more responsive. Ernie Ball is a reliable company that makes quality products and I've been consistently happy with their strings. This set is no exception. Go ahead and try out a set if you are considering them. They're bright, holding their tune well after installation with a bit of stretching. (If you're not sure about changing your own strings it's really pretty easy and there are plenty of videos and articles online.) I'm super happy with them and glad I decided to get them. A quality set of strings can last a long time and back when I was playing all the time I'd usually only change strings when one broke but a fresh set really makes your guitar sing and the extra responsiveness will make you a better player. I'd give this set and seller 5 stars.

These are great strings and love the Ball-ends finish. The only draw back is for a Telecaster with a Bigsby, (long string path on Treble E, B strings, -- it was almost not long enough which surprised me. Typically, life long one clips off a good bit, then wraps it. Not here. If you kink it or mess up, you'll be buying another E, B string for want of like 4 inches or so and in any other set I've used. So, being mindful of that, - these have great tone, feel, and nice not to siff core, but not floppy or springy at all, nice firm, yielding warm high carbon steel tone, - wonderful in that regard, and what else is important otherwise anyway.

My husband loves this brand for stringing his guitars. It has consistent quality and it also arrived quickly. We would order them again (and have!). He says they are forgiving and easy to use

I have several guitars and two which are very expensive Pro guitars. On the cheaper guitars for everyday use it really doesn't matter what kind of strings I use as those guitars are used for hours of practice and fret wearing activities. On my Fender American Strat. and my Music Man JPX6, I can hear a noticeable difference between brands and the gauge of the strings. I have tried many stings on these two but they always sound their absolute best when I use these strings. They are not made to last forever (that dulls the sound anyway) and they last as long as most. Overall, if you want your guitar to sound really good, make sure the intonation is adjusted for the specific gauge strings you use. If that's off, no matter what strings you use it will not sound as good as it can. Even going from .08 to .10 strings will require a readjustment on the intonation. So, if you have someone adjust your intonation, take a set of these strings with you and have that person setup the guitar with them on the guitar and you will find they are the best available for electric guitar.
