Im an intermediate player, and have always had trouble with hand stamina ( applying pressure while playing for 10 minutes). And string bending/ pushing up an octave like the solo in hotel California? Yeah, forget it. I didn't know why I couldn't pull it off. Turns out I had thick disgusting strings. It's no wonder the legends were able to pull off amazing solos with this. It literally feels like heaven. So smooth, and soft to touch. They feel elegant. Yet, somehow they're very strong. I had wound them up wrong so I took them out and wound up again, no problem. The strings come with PLENTY of excess, and by plenty I mean at least 5" extra in case you have trouble or need to readjust. Tone is incredible. Warm yet clear, rich and complex. It does very much sound like a 70s rock band especially on a les Paul. And for the price of 7$? Kidding me? D'addario sells some strings for 20$+ where I live. Literally THE greatest strings I had. Absolutely give it a try if you're a newbie. They will ease your play and your fingers and sanity will thank you for it.

Great strings with mellow high end tonality. Still prefer the regular 9-42 Ernie Ball slinky's but these are a nice little change up. They will work great for a softer top end, think like jazzy fusion mellow tones. But still great strings.. they would also be great if you are looking to soften the highs a bit on a brighter guitar tone..

so i have a cheap squier strat and like all cheap guitars the sound is never that good specially with distortion. To me the guitar was sounding to bright and i wanted to catch the notes more clearly and so i thought about changing pickups but after doing some research nickel string came up as a way a guitar sound warmer so i gave it a try and they do make a difference my guitar sounds better overall and the notes are more clear so I'm happy with this strings. Also is my first time using 8 gauge i read that they don't last as long as thicker strings and that they also don't stay in tune as well as thicker strings that's something to be seen a few months from now but i think that if you are using slim strings you probably don't play hard metal and your guitar pick are soft but back to the string s they feel really easy on the fingers and easy to play specifically for beginners and i would recommend for short scale guitars or six strings. For metal music and long scale guitars with 7 Strings or more I'd recommend 10 gauge and up, in terms of string material is more of a preference in sound to the player

I had not tried this size before and they work great, i like the way they bend and are light enough that they dont hurt your fingers after hours of playing.

I've been playing long enough to have essentially tried every major string brand and I always find myself returning to Ernie Ball. There's something about their strings that just feels different. The break-in period is always much shorter than other brands I've tried as well, which may be an important aspect to you if you are a touring musician that constantly changes strings. When I was but a young man, I strung my guitar up with Regular Slinky's and never saw a reason to try anything else. Eventually, the hands and fingers began to slacken a bit with age and I resorted to trying the Super Slinky's and never looked back. Until now. Some ten years later of using Super Slinky's interspersed with the occasional foray into Dean Markley's, GHS Boomers, D'addario, all manner of coated strings that claimed to last months, and even some obscure European brands, I return to Ernie Ball surprised at all of the new additions made to the Slinky brand. There are gauges I have never seen before. Prior to the Hybrids, I tried the Skinny Top, Heavy Bottom set but did not quite find them to my liking. This, however, was entirely different. I was now able to play the plain strings as though I were playing a set of Supers but play the wound strings as though I'd had a heavier set for rhythm playing. I don't remember the last time I was this excited about something so seemingly trivial as guitar strings but I now intend to try the other Slinky variants to see whether there are some other gems I am perhaps missing out on! Oh, and before I leave you, I must add for the young lads that may not quite know their way around the instrument quite yet to either learn to correct the intonation themselves or to take it to a shop to have this done. Remember that changing your string gauge will require you to readjust the intonation as the various factors coalesce to influence this ever so important yet overlooked aspect of the instrument. Happy playing!

These strings are easy to play and are a hybrid gauge 9-46 instead of the standard 10-46.They stand up and don't break on you when you're depending on them.I install these on my customers guitars on a regular basis and have had a lot of positive comments. I'll definitely continue using them!

Recomendado, difícil hoy en día que hay imitación pero esta no es la ocasión, cuerdas originales, sonido claro y bueno, y durabilidad...mis cuerdas favoritas no duden en adquirir aquí ya que reitero si son originales.
