My personal musical tastes are all over the map. But when I find an artist that can make even a “standard” feel like their own, with a great talent for lyricism and melody, I buy everything I can find by them. Such is the case with Laufey, and with her output so far, there’s not even a slight dip in the road;I don’t skip a single song, and the albums have such a great feel from start to finish. I hope she continues creating her own kind of music for a long, long while.

Laufey is a breath of fresh air. New original jazz music. Classically trained musician. Selling out shows around the world. You'll fall in love with her voice. So beautiful, and so relaxing.

For years I have been listening to artists like Peggy Lee, Ella Fitzgerald, etc. When I first started listening to Laufey, she had the most beautiful singing voice that I can listen to. She definitely has that inspiration of those singers of traditional pop. A huge recommendation to start listening to her music! This album is the start! ❤️ Planning to listen to more Laufey!

Saw Laufey for the first time performing at the Grammys this year. This is her first full length album and highly recommend it. Well written, recorded and performed. You have to like the genre. It is not mainstream. Super talented young lady. Also bought "Bewitched" which (no pun intended) is the better one of the 2 in my humble opinion. She has matured. her writing style and performance is getting even better.
