Where do I start?? The K669D is and has been my utmost favorite budget dynamic mic since I purchased my first one. I have 3 now. Two black and one custom red (a gift from a fellow YouTuber and not available on the market). These mics have an amazing, crisp, broadcast sound. You can literally setup a multi person podcast with these and have everyone sounding great for less than 1 pro level microphone. They are all metal build mics that will withstand being tossed around if you need to be mobile. HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!

For a moderately priced dynamic microphone, this product delievers! My collection includes dozen of mics, and I truly like this one. It's not a condenser, but as a dynamic this has a great sound, solid build, and good looks. Currently my mike of choice for daily use. As is typical with most dynamics, the output couldnuse a boost so gain doesn't have to be maxed out for soft passages. The Klark TekniK CT-1 fits the bill in my case. Good low end, sparkling high end. Amazing what can be had for under $35.

For the price this microphone is pretty good. It definitely doesn’t feel cheap either. It sounds great and is good for beginners for a lot of things. It has a large variety of things you can use it for like podcasts, voice acting, music, and more. Only one thing I find is that the loudest part is at the end and it can be a little annoying but it’s not that serious. It’s great and I would highly recommend this to people starting off.

For the past 10 years or so, the microphone i've been using for gaming, discord, and some audio recording has been a "ModMIc". For those who don't know, Modmic makes a headset type microphone that you attach to your headphones using a magnet. It had decent enough sound quality for what i was doing, or so I thought, and recently i ran over the cable one too many times and it has since been retired to the local landfill. I did a lot of looking around for something similar that was of higher qualty and i didn't feel their higher end modmic was what i needed, so i decided to take the plunge and get myself a proper Dynamic microphone and Audio Interface, and after watching a ton of reviews on Youtube, decided on the FiFine K669D and for the audio interface, the CAD Connect 2 CX2 24/96 usb interface with phantom power. There aren't many decent interfaces under $100 with good build quality, excellent sound quality, and can do 24bit audio. This is one of the few, and it does it well. As for the microphone, I only have my old ModMic to compare it to, but the sound quality is like comparing one of those audio tape recorders from the 90's that are used to record lectures, to a CD audio recording. When i first got it set up and logged into discord, just about every person i play games with commented on how much better i sounded. One person wasn't even sure if it was me at first. The only downsides i can think of would be the stand is absolute trash. If you put that thing on your desk, it picks up every movement you make. I tossed it aside and ordered the FiFine Low Profile Microphone Boom. I chose that one because i have dual displays and didn't want the microphone coming over the top of them. This boom allows the mic to come under the displays and then angle up towards where i keep it. Yeah, it cost 50% more than the mic itself, but it's built solid and doesn't move around much. Overall, this mic has outstanding value for the money.

I am beyond impressed with these microphones. I had the Rode Podmic, two of them, and I sold them to get 4 of these Fifine K669Ds. The sound these little mics produce is on par with some of the more expensive brands. Outside of the fact that there isn't a USB option, this mic will give you what you need for a professional sounding budget podcast set up. I know some want that Shure SM7 look to be like the bigger podcasters, but your message is the most important thing and the Fifine K669D will give you the sound you want and it doesn't look bad either... I highly recommend this mic.

I'm not exactly sure how to describe the sound other than "gritty". The lack of a shock mount isn't a huge deal considering the availability of universal ones that I have found fit this just fine, but without it you definitely won't want to be doing any typing or gaming while using it. It picks up a ton of detail for an affordable dynamic microphone, but ends up sounding gritty and harsh without any editing like EQ or compression. Unless you are only using it for recording and editing voice clips there is probably a better option for you

I have a studio with two Electro-Voice RE27's and needed two more mics. After reading the reviews I purchased two of these. With the same mic preamp and processing settings, these actually sound BETTER on the air than the $400 RE27. A no brainer.

This is easily one of the best microphones at this price point. It’s easy to set up and is definitely built like a tank! Because this is an XLR microphone, you do need an audio interface with this, I’m using M-Audio M-Track solo and it works perfectly. Sound quality is really good and this does offer a decent background noise cancellation. The only thing missing in the wind shield because it can catch plosives if you speak closely, so a distance of around 12 inches would be a good start. For now, this works really well for me and I would definitely recommend it if you’re looking for a budget XLR microphone.

It is a good mic. Rejects a lot of the background noise. But it is gain hungry. You cannot use just a normal audio interface with this. You will need an additional in-line preamp or mic activator like cloud lifter to get enough volume out of this mic. That will cost an additional from 5K to 10K. So be careful if you want to buy this mic it will cost you a lot more than just the mic.

Suppose you are not looking for Rode. Then, this mic will surprise me. It's a must-have for YouTubers and any type of singer. Buy any interface that has XLR input, and this mic will blow you away.
