I ordered this microwave to replace my 18 year old Frigidaire. The space over my stove is oddly smaller than homes built today so size was a huge factor (blank stare). I needed a quality microwave small enough for the space but would stand up over time. I was adamant about keeping the same brand because it's tried and true and won't let you down. I've had it for a while now and love it. However, there's a little reflective cardboard like piece in the roof portion of the microwave that looks cheap. Other than that it's a stainless steel beauty. Easy to clean and fingerprint free. Mama is very happy.

This is my 2nd Frigidaire OTR-Microwave. Both Excellent. Very easy to install. Install rear mounting bracket [simple] and attach '2' larger bolts from above [drill holes in upper cabinet]. Templates provided. Functions of microwave work flawlessly ... very simple controls. I highly recommend this competitively priced high quality microwave. Frigidaire is a premium manufacturer.

This microwave was easier to install than it otherwise would have been because we previously had an over the range microwave and the wall anchor fit perfectly - thankfully, as that would have been pain to remove and install anew. As for functionality, it works as expected, which is very good of course, has bright interior and over the range lights, and isn't too loud. Only negative so far is that the exhaust fan is not all that powerful and unless we are using the burners directly under the microwave, the smoke, steam and odors do not all get sucked into the exhaust. Otherwise, happy with our purchase at the price paid.

Delivery time (right on schedule) and dimensions (exactly as specified) made the replacement of an older Frigidaire model a 20 minute job. Absolutely LOVE the 2024 upgrades (10 and 30 second extra cook time button, and programmable multistage cooking).

The first microwave arrived so dented it could not be installed. Amazon sent a replacement. After nearly two hours trying to mount it (the hardware is so weak additional support was required), we plugged it in and it shorted out, sparks flying, and tripped my apartment's breaker. (We tested the power outlet and it's fine.) AND the door does not fully latch nor align, so the microwave wouldn't have functioned anyway -- the unit won't operate unless the door is securely closed. This brand/model is VERY cheaply made and clearly dangerous! Steer clear.

We love our new Frigidaire microwave. The first thing I noticed is how quiet it is—you can barely tell it's running. It heats efficiently and evenly. This model is just a microwave, not a convection oven, which is perfect for us since we never used the convection feature on our previous unit. We opted for the microwave-only version and paid much less for it.

My 13 year old Frigidaire microwave gave it up and refused all attempts at repair, so I decided to go with a new FA model in hopes that the installation would be easier...specifically being able to use the same mount holes in the cabinets and mounting bracket as the old one. Surprisingly my hopes were well founded. The mounting holes in the top line up perfectly with the old model and while the mounting bracket is slightly different in design, the actual mounting tongue and groove are exactly the same and in the exact same location, so using the old bracket worked fine. The vent assembly is exactly the same as older models as well....simply flip the motor to the correct position and connect the vent (if venting to the exterior). Functionally it's what you expect from a microwave. Much quieter than the old one with some added features that are nice. My only gripe is the LED lighting. I like the LED but don't like the bulbs used. Easily replaceable, yes, but I just don't like the blue LED lights. Also, this model only has one stovetop light on the bottom where most (and my old FA) had two. The old design created a more even light across the stovetop. Not a huge deal though.
