I love these!!! They last about a month...less in the hot weather. As long as the price stays where it's at, I'll keep buying them. I love a good smell when I get into my vehicle. The kids like it too and their friends like it to as they say it is the "good smelling car." Black ice is my signature smell, heh heh.

many new car scents are over-powering or don't really smell like a new car. This has a nice synthetic smell that's not too intense and just enough to give the impression of new leather or new fabric. They work pretty well with air flowing through a vent, but they do only last about 30 days (which is fine, and typical for the size).

I HAD TO WAIT A LITTLE WHILE AFTER I RECEIVED THIS PRODUCT FROM AMAZON BEFORE EVALUATING IT TO SEE HOW LONG THE SCENT LASTS. WELL, IT'S BEEN IN MY TRUCK FOR SOMETHING LIKE THREE WEEKS NOW AND IT IS STILL DISPENSING AN UNDIMINISHED PLEASANT AROMA. HOW LONG THE AROMA WILL LAST IS ANYBODY'S GUESS, BUT SO FAR ITS LONGEIVITY HAS BEEN QUITE SATISFACTORY. THE LIQUID SCENT PRODUCT IS CONTAINED IN A BLACK PLASTIC DISPENSER ABOUT ONE AND A HALF INCHES SQUARE (37.5 MM, GIVE OR TAKE). I ATTACHED MINE ONTO A AIRVENT LOUVER SO THAT THE VENT FAN CAN DISTRIBUTE THE SCENT, BUT IT CAN BE PLACED ANYWHERE THAT HAS A THIN-ENOUGH SURFACE FOR THE BUILT-ON CLIP TO GRIP. THERE IS A TINY PLASTIC CLEAR WINDOW ON THE FRONT SO THAT ONE CAN SEE HOW MUCH OF THE LIQUID SCENT PRODUCT REMAINS. BY THE WAY, THERE ARE A NUMBER OF DIFFERENT AROMAS AVAILABLE. THERE IS A SLIDING TAB AT THE VERY TOP WHICH ALLOWS THE USER TO ADJUST HOW MUCH SCENT IS RELEASED. I HAVE KEPT MINE AT THE LOWEST SETTING. THAT WORKS FINE FOR ME--MY TRUCK CAB HAS A SMALL INSIDE VOLUME. THE DISPENSER WHICH CONTAINS THE LIQUID PRODUCT IS MADE OF PLASTIC, WHICH IN THIS CASE IS ENTIRELY APPROPRIATE. THERE ARE NO MARKINGS INDICATING THE PIECE IS RECYCLABLE. FINALLY, LET'S NOT FORGET ABOUT HOW THE LIQUID SCENT IS FORMULATED. THE PRODUCT INSTRUCTION SHEET INDICATES, IN BOTH ENGLISH AND FRENCH, THAT NO PHTHALATES OR FORMALDEHYDE HAS BEEN USED, BUT THE ENCLOSED LITERATURE DOES NOT INDICATE WHETHER THE SCENT'S CHEMICAL MIX MIGHT, UNDER CERTAIN CUMCUMSTANCES, BE HARMFUL. THE PRODUCT IS MANUFACTURED IN MEXICO AND THERE IS NO MEDICAL STAMP OF APPROVAL FROM ANY GOVERNMENT AGENCY--OR FROM ANYWHERE ELSE, FOR THAT MATTER. I CAN'T FIND ANYTHING NEGATIVE ON THE INTERNET, SO I GUESS IT'S "BUYER BEWARE." THIS PRODUCT HAS BEEN AROUND FOR A LONG TIME, SO I PERSONALLY DON'T HAVE ANY CONCERNS ABOUT SAFETY. I LIKE THIS PRODUCT VERY MUCH. I HOPE BUYERS WILL ENJOY HAVING A PLEASENT SCENT IN YOUR VEHICLE AS MUCH AS I HAVE IN MINE.

I've never understood why people would want their ride to smell like food or laundry. Febreze pine is the most authentic pine of any of the car smell-goods... but I can NEVER find it in the stores. The irony in all this is that it's only available at the time of year when THE SINGLE MORE AUTHENTIC SMELL OF PINE in your space(s) is already in your ^%$#&* house! Time to can your marketing department Febreze and start thinking outside of the box... doncha think? As an aside, is 2017 a vintage year for pine? This is soon to be 2025. Maybe this is another reason on the side of revamping your marketing department and starting from scratch (although from experience, scratching doesn't really reveal a smell)
