Purchased these for my 2 yr old grandson and when he wants me to read to him these are some of the first ones he picks. They’re well made and will sustain some harsh toddler treatment.

These are great books for the price do not get me wrong. My Daughter loves them, however they were not what I was expecting. I was expecting more simplified words like Dog, Cat, Tree. However these books have words such as crying with a picture of a child crying seem odd to me. I am a first time parent however crying is an action and I am unsure how a picture of a baby ( keep in mind these are not cartoony illustration) that has tears on its face will show her what crying actually means. I am happy with books other than some of the words depicting actions do not fit well. When I decided I would purchase this book set I was looking for more nouns, such as tree or cat or whatever. Just keep this in mind if you were in the same boat as I. Otherwise they are great board books and I am happy with the purchase.

Easter gift for the Grandkids. I was a bit disappointed of how small they were but they are perfect for the kids to hold for themselves. My four year old can read them and the two year old can point and say the word! Very sturdy and great looking illustrations.
