The first issue as soon as I got it nine months ago was the low battery life! It says four days but this was not true in my case. I got 48 hours at the most if I exercised for about an hour. If I exercised longer, it was 24 hours tops. I thought I could use it like I use my Alta HR: as a fitness tracker and as a regular watch and have the battery last several days, but it did not happen. In all I have not used the tracker as often as I wanted to because of the battery inconvenience. Knowing this problem, I decided not to take the Versa on an eight-day road trip I just took, and took my Alta HR instead. Can you imagine buying a watch like this (I must add that I bought a "renewed" one) and keeping it at home because it will not work as you need it to? Now I come to the second issue. During the road trip, I left the tracker in the charger, with the charger hooked to the electric source. I did this because I did not want to come back and find the battery dead. Upon my return, I checked the watch and it was fully charged, but the set up had disappeared. I have been trying to reset it and I have spent (wasted) hours without success. The app finds the phone but does not move on to the reset steps. I am about to give up, but before I try once more, I decided to write this review as a warning. Pity, because I was very satisfied with Fitbit and my Alta HR, but now I am considering not buying any Fitbit trackers anymore, new, "renewed", or updated models. Thanks for reading this warning.

Fits, easily worn and not as technical as the newer versions. I'm older so the ease of use is very important. I had a very hard time getting it to sync with the phone but was able to do it, it might have just been me lolol . I like the charger too. My was a refurbished one but not one scratch, no complaints here. I love it. Also because it's an older version the print is larger and easier to see. I'm so glad I bought it.

My watches face is coming off. Only a couple of months after I exchanged the first watch. Fitbits manufacturer warranty won’t apply to this watch since it wasn’t bought directly through amazon. Bought this to save money but ended up wasting money.

It was refurbished (which I knew upon purchasing) but it wasn't reset. I turned it on to someone else's picture. There weren't any instructions with it aside from a pamphlet that said, "download the fitbit app" but good thing we have internet and can search for this stuff. Reset was pretty easy, but 2 days after using it, it needed reset back to factory setting again because it wouldn't do anything but show the fitbit icon. The battery only lasts about 2½ days from full charge but that isn't a deal breaker for me. Hopefully there isn't any other issues. As long as it doesn't need reset again, I'll come back and give more stars. Overall, I like the functions on it.

Click to play video We bought a refurbished Versa because the price was reasonable and was needed for a young person's remote fitness credit. Item looked great, new band, good bezel condition. No branded packaging but we've had so many fitbits and apple watches over over years, we know to follow along in the apps. Within a few hours I noticed the first Versa delivered was dead and not charging. There was a pin recessed in the charger but I was able to press it down to make it charge... not practical to hold it in the long run. Could not get it to pair (possibly battery drained) so chatted with a CS Rep and coordinated a return and replacement. Was disappointed to lose a day tracking, but luckily the second one arrived next day! The second Versa charged properly but could not complete set up. We tried multiple compatible Android devices (v8, 10 and 11). We'd get to the 4digit pin entry and get an error that it could not connect to fitbit. Reinstalling the app, turning off competing Bluetooth items (and we have too many smart devices here), confirming full app permissions, restarting the devices and hard resetting the versa did nothing to help. One of the devices had a Versa2 connected (so we knew it connected properly to the fitbit server). My guess is the wiped and refurbished Versa is so far backrolled in updates, it couldn't even communicate with the server. The Bluetooth worked and we were able to connect and get a pin! It just would not complete the pair and register at fitbit's site. Planned obsolescence is disgusting in this day and age with dwindling resources and limited recycling. So we will need to look for an upgraded Versa2 or 3 and spend more $$?!?
