Wore this with a jean vest and some cowgirl boots and got a ton of compliments. Hubby loved it. Bought this in black as well because it was so cute. The shorts under the skirt is not compressive...it's like a pair of boxer shorts, in my opinion. I did still wear underwear with this.

I’m 5ft 1in tall & 124 lbs, waist 25in & hips 38.5in. I ordered x-small. The sizing must run large because I had no problems getting the undershorts around my big thighs/butt & wide hips. If you have an hourglass or pear shape body, I would not recommend sizing down because the skirt really gets short on the sides and back, even for petite people. For other body types, the waistband stretches a lot, so size down unless you hate a snug waistband. The material is lightweight, slightly stretchy, and not see through. Unfortunately, it also wrinkles/folds easily, which makes it look kinda bulky, so this skirt will need to be steamed or ironed. Normally I would swap for a small, but I’m in the process of losing weight, so I will keep the x-small. It should fit perfectly by the time I reach my target weight (110 lbs). I’m not the biggest fan of the undershorts, mainly because the inseam is for a higher rise. I might remove them so I can adjust the rise. Without the shorts, this skirt is great for layering over leggings and tights or wearing alone if you don’t mind the length. The color is as expected.

The material is not at all what I expected. It's very stiff plastic feeling (like water proof material or something) the elastic on the waist is super thick and ruffled at the top so I feel like the only way it could be worn is with something baggy on topto hide how bad the skirt is. Also the shorts underneath are like a string. Don't waste your money.
