Once trapped on the card there is no escape for the flying bug so it gets stuck and dies!! Once the card is full simply unplug the device, pull the card out that has the dead bus..throw it away...put a new card back into the device..then plug it into the outlet again and the magic happens all over again!! Amazing, as soon as i received it i put the card in and plugged it in and you can see the result from the first picture, the 2nd picture was 4 days' later, I will keep using it until all the little flies' are eliminated. Very happy with this purchase.

This bug trap mostly attracts bugs to where the light shines, and is ineffective at drawing moths to the sticky paper. My advice is to buy a much more effective bug zapper for less money. Plus, this item has a very difficult return experience. You get a return shipping label where you pay for shipping to Las Vegas, which is refunded when asked; however, I was told their 'system' would only allow a partial refund for my purchase. This was not the no-hassle Amazon experience I grew accustomed to.
