Out of the box it was very easy to use. Touch screen is self explanatory. It looks big but it doesn’t weight that much. The size is perfect for doing big batches of dried fruit which is why I got it. I like the ability to control the temperature. It has been working really well and seems like a good buy for the money. Cleaning it is pretty easy. All the trays pull out and you can wash them.

I couldn't be happier with this product! Works great. It is much quieter and faster than other dehydrators that I have used. I'm drying everything in the house: flowers, orange slices, salmon, bananas—great healthy snacks for me especially on my food allergy diet. I know for sure what goes into everything I make!!!

We had a small dehydrator that we replaced with this one. It's been really helpful to do a bunch at the same time. Making a bunch of apple chips or other fruit chips is so much easier now. The machine was much lighter than I expected and was really easy to set up. We have a little mud room we keep the air fryer and dehydrator in to avoid smells and noise in the main area. I didn't notice excessive noise from the machine.

My old unit quit working after thirty years. I have had this one over a month and we are in the middle of the citrus season. I have dried all of the citrus and made candied slices which I put in here to dry after canding the slices. I have dried the peels and herbs for scent packs. I am not done, this is somuch nicer than my old unit.

Does an excellent job with the cook/drying however there's no preset for wild game. ( venison ) the main reason I got this one is venison jerky. On suggestion I used pork preset and got way over dried. (FYI pork preset is 12hrs. Ground venison only needs about 4hrs) maybe if there's a manual mode would be better. Otherwise great product and does what made for. Just set a manual timer and check on it periodically.

Got this for my husband for Christmas and he loves it! He recently made several batches of jerky and it turned out so good. This dehydrator is much larger than our previous one and he was able to cook it all in record time.

Works much better than the cheap plastic dehydrator and holds much more volume in a small area. Would definitely buy again.

We were using a 20 year old circular beast. Which did the trick, but this dehydrator is much quieter, way faster and bonus the trays fit in the dishwasher! Definitely happy we replaced our old round dinosaur. Like all dehydrators, it does get warm to the touch and around it, so finding a space on the counter that wasn't directly beneath a cupboard was tricky. It’s somewhat under a cupboard but a much higher cupboard so there is air flow between the top of the dehydrator and the bottom of the cupboard. The tray holes are very small, so when doing apple chips or smaller items they don’t fall thru. And you don’t necessarily need the plastic grated tray it comes with. The solid tray that came with is nice for fruit leathers and other more liquid items, including mushy items like bananas or tomatoes.
