We put off getting a vacuum sealer for way too long—one of those things we talked about but never actually bought. Now that we finally have one, I can’t believe we waited this long. After using it to store a bunch of steaks we grabbed on sale, I’m sold—we’ll always have a vacuum sealer from now on. This model in particular is simple and super easy to use, which made the whole process even better. The seal is tight, it works quickly, and the results are awesome. Everything stays fresh, and freezer burn is no longer a worry. It’s already saving us money and making bulk buying way more practical. If you’re on the fence, don’t wait like we did—it’s totally worth it!

This thing is amazing, purchased a different brand first which I returned due to the lack of suction. This one works great, easy to set up and use, the greatest feature is how quickly it performs, is light weight, compact and comes with bags and a bag roll. Great value

If you're on the fence about a vacuum sealer, you probably won't regret buying one. If you have a family to feed and want to save money buy buying meat and veggies in bulk and freeze, this one will pay for itself in just a few weeks. Even if you decide on spending a little more on a different one, you should get one regardless. This one in particular is a decent "cheap" sealer. For the money, it works great. Some reviews say it stops working, mine works fine after 2 years. I did give it 4 stars because it does struggle sometimes to seal moist foods but if you switch to the dry setting while leaving the lid latched and press seal again and just let is go for 4-5 seconds more, it seems to work fine. Also, clean your sealer strip. It helps, as when it gets dirty (and it will) it doesn't make contact as well. Overall, it's affordable, fast, easy to store, easy to use, and even if SOMETIMES you'll have to do it over to seal, it's still well worth the money. You could pay a lot more and still have issues. If mine were to break today, I'd buy another one tomorrow.

This is a great vacuum sealing device. It is very reliable and works quickly. I routinely buy extra meats and freeze them and this keeps every thing tasting great. This is extremely compact and easy to store with locks that you can use to store vertically. Follow the instructions and give at least a 1/2 minute or so between using the sealer to keep from damaging the machine.

Have had this for 9 months. Bought it used here on Amazon. It showed up looking brand new. Works perfectly. I use it several times a week. One of my all time favorite purchases, I’d guess it has saved me well over $300 already. Can’t recommend it highly enough. And with this particular model, I love the compact size, this is the way to go

This model was our replacement for our previous foodsaver which stopped working after at least YEARS of use. The newer model is much sleeker and I love that it is designed to be stored either horizontally or vertically. Please note that you have to push on either side of the lid with a decent amount of pressure to get them to latch. At first I thought the unit was broken but I just wasn’t pushing hard enough (for fear of breaking it). Once we figured that out I was very pleased with the ease of use and strength of the vacuum. Would buy again!

Used it for jerky I made and have been using it to vacuum seal anything and everything I can I enjoy it so much. Works great and well built. I'm glad I didn't go cheap and buy another junky one.

It doesn’t come with operating instructions. We used the QR code which doesn’t give great instructions. In order to make it work, you need to press down on both sides of the cover until it locks in place. Then the unit vacuums and seals. For dry things it works great. We just did chicken and I felt it could have vacuumed out more air. Also, the rubber feet on the bottom come off every time we use it. This is so annoying. It’s only a matter of time before we lose one. We had one of these for years. It finally stopped working. The quality and ease of use were better.

I bought this model based on a friend’s recommendation. I have been using this for a few months now and I love it. It is so much more efficient than trying to find bags and containers that fit the size of what you are freezing. This year instead of canning my tomato sauce I put it in vacuum bags and froze all of it. So much faster. Also works great for marinating, add meat and marinade and vacuum seal! Works much faster than conventional ways of just putting it in a container.

1. Nowhere in the description or photos does it even mention that this isn't wired for Australian power or have an Australian plug. 2. The package had obviously been opened and repacked. There were no instructions or even basic safety information included 3. The whole thing just feels cheap and like a bad rip off product rather than a genuine FoodSaver???

After waiting more than two weeks for this to arrive, I received a defective unit. The packaging was sketchy as if it was opened before!
