I’ve tried several cat litters over the years, but this one stands out above the rest. It clumps extremely well with urine — no more crumbling or sticky messes in the litter box. The clumps stay solid, making scooping quick and easy. What really impressed me, though, is the odor control. Even with multiple cats, this litter hides all the smell. There’s no harsh perfume smell either — just a clean, neutral scent that keeps the room fresh. Low dust, great clumping, unbeatable odor control — this litter checks all the boxes. Highly recommended for any cat parent looking for a no-fuss solution that actually works.

The BEST litter if you can't afford Arm N Hammer. It smells great, it clumps very well, AND it's not so fine that it tracks everywhere and ends up in your bed sheets!!! It's low dust too, and I have tried nearly all of the cheaper brands and Fresh Step is superior. I scoop my box at least once if not twice a day and with the other brands, I was constantly needing to sweep my floors and the dust would stick to my shoes and between their toes so I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend this brand.

After trying several other litters, I think fresh step is the best for odor control. I'm not sure there is ever going to be a perfect litter, but this comes close. We're a 2-cat house hold so that means twice the smells. It maintains freshness far longer than the others I've tried, including more expensive name brand options. Clumps hold together well during the cleaning and scooping process, and my cats seem to like it. While it's not as dusty as some litters, it still has some dust that is noticeable when pouring fresh litter in the box, but this tends to settle quickly. Also, why does the price of this product fluctuate so much?

Low dust scented cat litter that clumps tightly doesn't stick to my cat's paws after they use the litter box containing this odor controlling cat litter, forms tight hard clumps that can be easily scooped out several times a day, cat litter is grey color looks like there is micro sized chunks of baking soda all I care about is that this litter clumps when my cats use it and its easy for me to clean up.

Very low dust, low tracking but definitely still makes its way out of the box with every exit. I definitely need litter catching Matt around the box. Good tight clumps and it never gets stuck on her paws. The pieces are just the right size. The smell from whatever is in it that traps odor is very slight and even though “unscented” It completely controls cat box odor. I have just one cat and clean daily. It’s the best I’ve found so far.

I initially tried Fresh Step Extreme Clumping Litter with Febreze Freshness (Mountain Spring scent) on its own, and I have to say, it's still a solid litter choice. The clumping is effective, making scooping easy, and the odor control is definitely noticeable. For the price (under $12 for 14 lbs!), it's a really good value. However, after experimenting with mixing it with Purina Tidy Cats, I've discovered a truly fantastic combination! While Fresh Step performs well independently, I've found that the blend of the two litters creates an even more powerful synergy for both clumping ability and odor control. The mixed litter seems to clump even firmer and the odor neutralization is just exceptional. So, while Fresh Step Extreme Clumping Litter is a good litter on its own and definitely gets the job done, I've personally found that mixing it with Purina Tidy Cats elevates its performance to another level, especially in a multi-cat household like mine (4 cats!). If you're looking for a cost-effective and reliable litter, Fresh Step is a great option, but consider trying a mix if you want to maximize clumping and odor control. Still a solid 4.5 stars!

Como hemos comrpobado a lo largo de nuestras vidas con nuestros mininos, el segundo problema después del alimento, es el arenero. Claro si tienes una casa con 300 m2 de jardín pues ni te preocupas, sólo le dices al jardinero que las desentierre bien o aquellas que estan entre las ixoras o las palma arecas, y terminan embarrándose la mano por alcanzar esa caca que huele sabroso. Bueno, si tu caso es como el mío que viven en un cubo de 10x10, bueno la peste de los orines y caca del gato son muy notables, y no quiero que compitas con tu peste, y es cuando comienza la carrera de las marcas de arena. Primero compras las económicas, que mas bien parece arena de construcción, nada absorbe y nada aromatiza y las patas del gato embarradas de orina y sale con arena en las patas así que optas por otra calidad. Compré por muchos años Scoop away, pero esos terrones bien amazados y compactos se desbarataban si no lo sacabas al momento. No mames aparte hay que estar al pendiente de cuando zurra o mea, así que le imploré a Dios que me mostrara una salida al paraíso y literalmente me llegó la oferta de Amazon por "Fresh Steps" cualquier versión. Gloria a Dios nuestro Señor, y de verdad 1.- Los terrones duran compactos y de alta dureza y asi se quedan, olvídate, comprobado mas de 1 semana 2.- El aroma recién vacías la arena en su arenero "LIMPIO", "si marranos hay que lavar el arenero cuando cambien totalmente la arena" la casa se impregna a Lavanda y huele mejor que tu cama. Si un día quieres ver la cara de un gato feliz, agusto y con semblante de alta alcurnia, usa esta arena, hasta le brillan los ojos, no puedo explicarlo, lo tienes que ver por ti mismo. 3.- OMG el aroma dura meses, Claro, claro ya no huele como el primer día pero ya huele como a tu cama, 4.- La mejor inversión que puedes hacer, es la mejor calidad, se compctan los orines y no contamina el resto de la arena, si se te paso una semana, "No Problema" recoges con Calma con la pala (Compra una buena no seas codo) terrones y popo, y sigue oliendo a lavanda, Para los que necesitan terapia le aplanas la arena a un sólo nivel, verificas que no hayan quedado pequeños grumos, y terminas cuando las rodillas se te duermen. Así que ni lo dudes, buena marca, buen aroma, alta durabilidad, No Worries, Fresh Steps es la opción. Felicidades
