I bought these to make a office chair out of a second hand EZ chair. They roll and swivel very quietly and easily. It makes my desk as comfortable as my TV chair. The included screws were almost too long but didn't break through. They roll so effortlessly, it's almost a problem trying to stay near my keyboard. A heavy chair and me are not a strain on these casters.

The screws for attaching the casters were longer than expected. I wish I had checked their length. I wound up adding 1/4 inch plywood to the bottom of the chest I was adding the casters to, so the screws wouldn't extend into the chest. It worked out well but added to the installation effort.

The wheels: The listing is listed at 2", manufacture website says 50mm. A little expensive for what it is. Other than that, it rolls and rotate smoothly. I am using in the packout mounting holes. The holes line up quite nicely between the mounting holes.

Diese Rollen sind wirklich gut, absolut leichtgängig und laufruhig. Vereinzelt wird hier eine zu geringe Tragfähigkeit bemängelt. Meiner Erfahrung nach muss man aber bei der Auswahl immer berücksichtigen, ob man die Rollen wirklich ausschließlich bei gleichverteilter Last auf ebenem Boden verwenden will, oder ob man möchte, dass die Rollen auch holperigen Untergrund verzeihen. Und damit meine ich nicht abenteuerliche Geländefahrten, sondern schon das gelegentliche Überqueren von Türschwellen. Ich wähle immer Rollen, bei denen jede einzelne Rolle das Gesamtgewicht tragen kann, denn wenn man beispielsweise gegen eine Türschwelle fährt, muss die jeweils anstoßende Rolle bei ganz langsamem Überfahren schon mal das halbe Gewicht des Gesamtkörpers tragen, weil mindestens eine andere Rolle dann in der Luft hängen wird. Hinzu kommt, dass diese eine Rolle bei etwas schnellerer Fahrt zusätzlich noch alleine eine Beschleunigung in vertikaler Richtung gegen die Masseträgheit des zu tragenden Körpers aufnehmen muss, also eine dynamische Stoßlast, die um ein vielfaches höher sein wird, als das Gewicht des getragenen Körpers. Es ist also in den allermeisten Fällen Unsinn, solche Rollen grenzwertig auszuwählen. Nimm diese Rolllen also für maximal 50kg Gesamtlast oder hebe den Gegenstand, den du damit bestücken willst, jedesmal über kleine Unebenheiten hinweg und setze ihn sanft wieder auf. Unsinn ist die Behauptung eines Händlers, dass diese Rollen für Außenverwendung geeignet sind. Die Lager sind nicht abgedichtet, die Kugeln sichtbar. Wenn man damit also durch den Garten rollt, wird man bald Sand in allen Lagern haben. Abgesehen davon sind 50mm Rollen viel zu klein für die Verwendung auf Rasen und schon grenzwertig bei Waschbeton oder gröberem Asphalt. Für Waschbeton mindestens 100mm, Für Rasen 200mm große Rollen, wenn die Last nicht all zu groß ist, sonst versinken die Rollen im weichen Boden. Man kann sich da gut an Rasenmäherrollen orientieren. Bestenfalls kann man sie für einen schwereren Grill o.ä. auf einer gefliesten Terasse einsetzen, wenn der nur zur Benutzung aus dem Schuppen geholt wird. Ich habe diese Rollen unter eine ca. 12kg schwere Gitarrenlautsprecherbox geschraubt, dafür sind sie perfekt. Nichts klappert, hartes Absetzen und das Überfahren von Kabeln und Schwellen treibt die Rollen nicht an ihre Kapazitätsgrenze, sie malen keine Striche auf den Boden und ihre ausgewogene Elastizität gleicht geringe Unebenheiten in dem Maße aus, wie das auch Gummifüße tun würden, so dass die Box nicht gleich kippelt, wenn der Boden mal nicht akkurat plan ist. Ein gewisses Problem könnte es gelegentlich sein, dass diese Rollen zu leichtgängig sind, und ich dann bei geringstem Gefälle schon irgendeinen Stopper unter eine Rolle klemmen muss. Ich hätte die (günstigere!) Variante mit Bremsen wählen können, fand aber die Hebel zu ausladend. Die hätten dann unter meiner Box immer weit hervorgestanden. Die Rollen sind allemal stabil genug, dass ich mich auch mal auf die Box draufsetzen kann und auch auf dem ebenen Zimmerboden damit umherrollen könnte. Für den harten Bühneneinsatz, bei dem mal eine zweite Box oder Kiste ohne Rollen oben drauf gestellt wird, um beideds gemeinsam schieben zu können, sind sie ebenfalls geeignet. Perfekt für meinen Zweck ist, dass diese Rollen schwarz sind. Die Lackierung ist einwandfrei. Die 25mm langen Gewinde der beigefügten Schrauben erscheinen mir zu lang. Besser wären m. E. 17mm Gewindelänge, da die Montageplatte 2mm stark ist und 16mm starke Holzplatten recht verbreitet sind. Die Tragfähigkeit von vier 6mm dicken Holzschrauben, die 15mm ins Holz reichen, wäre allemal roß genug, um der Tragfähigkeit der Rolle zu genügen - zumindest wenn man sie nicht in billigste Spanplatten dreht. Für solch brüchige Materialien sollte man aber ohnehin besser (Einschlag-)muttern von der Gegenseite setzen und Maschinenschrauben verwenden. Ferner finde ich die Dimensionen der Löcher in der Montageplatte übertrieben groß. Die Köpfe von 5mm starken Schrauben fallen bereits durch. Hinzu kommt, dass die Schrauböffnungen als Langlöcher ausgeführt sind. Ich weiß nicht, was sich der Hersteller dabei gedacht hat. 6,5mm große gewöhnliche runde Bohrungen wären (auch für die beigefügten dicken Holzschrauben) absolut ausreichend und würden alternativ die Verwendung von 5mm Maschinenschrauben mit Gegenmutter erlauben. Für 50kg Tragkraft braucht es niemals vier 8mm starke Schrauben. Und der Sinn von vier Langlöchern, alle in der gleichen Richtung, erschließt sich mir absolut nicht. Wenn das dafür gedacht ist, dass Doppellinkshänder nicht so genau bohren müssen, dürfen die Bohrungen alle nur in einheitlicher Richtung neben dem Zielpunkt liegen. Wenn man das hinbekommt, dann kriegt man es aber wohl auch hin, dass beide Bohrungskoordinaten in etwa passen. Mir erscheint das simpel: Man bohrt halt erst ein Loch, Schraubt die Rolle daran fest, richtet sie aus und bohrt anschließend durch die anderen drei Montagelöcher die restlichen drei Positionen. Da kann eigentlich nichts schief gehen. Schlichte runde und kleinere Bohrungen hätten zudem den Vorteil, dass die Montageplatte in der Breite einige Millimeter und in der Länge einen guten Zentimeter kleiner sein könnte, was bei den meisten Verwendugen weit wünschenswerter ist, als eine maximale Trottelkompatibilität der Rollen. Aber diese Kritikpunkte tun der Nutzbarkeit des Produktes keinen hinreichenden Abbruch, um ein Sternabzug zu begründen, und die Größen der Schrauben sowie der Montageplatte sind in der Beschreibung angegeben. Man weiß also, was man bekommt. Meine Kaufempfehlung für Indooranwendung bis 50kg Gewicht des Körpers, an dem sie angeschraubt werden, wenn man diesen regelmäßig über weitere Wege bewegen will. Dann kann man damit auch mal über Gehwegplatten fahren oder auf dem Körper zusätzliche Lasten abstellen. Wenn es hingegen um einen Zimmerpflanzenkasten oder ein Aquarium geht, welche nur mal zum Staubsaugen einen Meter auf ebenem Boden hin- und hergeschoben werden, dann kann man sicherlich auch an die Lastgrenze von 200kg gehen.
