This dash cam is fantastic! Unlike my previous models, this one records even while parked, which adds extra security. I had it professionally installed at Best Buy, and the process took less than an hour. Just keep in mind that you’ll need to purchase the hardwire kit separately. The build quality is excellent—it looks sleek and high-end. The video quality is outstanding, recording in sharp 4K for both the front and rear cameras. The companion app is fairly intuitive, though it takes a little getting used to. And you will need to consult with the manual. Occasionally, the Wi-Fi connection drops when browsing files, so I find it easier to remove the SD card and review footage on a computer. Overall, this dash cam is well worth the investment for its quality, features, and reliability!

I recently bought a dash cam to use on my vehicle for both long trip and local driving. After reviewing many different dash cams, I decided to buy a GKU-D900 camera package. I received it two days after ordering it. That is exceptional delivery service! It exceeded my expectations. The front and rear cameras are both very compact, nice design, high quality video, and well built. It also came with a 64GB SD card. The installation of both cameras was very easy and the installation of the power wires was easier than I anticipated with the small tool that came with it. The wires tucked in nicely and out of sight along the headliner of both camera locations. Setting the cameras up was also very easy following the enclosed instructions. I installed the front cameras first and tried it out. Then installed the rear camera and had a problem getting it to turn on. After contacting customer service, I received an e-mail from Judy. She confirmed what I had done was not shutting the front camera off and then restarting it after the second camera was installed. The front camera simply had not recognized it. Both cameras work excellent and I am very impressed with the video clarity, and all the other features! I highly recommend the GKU D900 camera package! Equally of importance was the quick response to my e-mail to customer service. Judy was very helpful in providing detailed instructions!

Click to play video This dash cam is an excellent deal. Image quality and night vision are great at this price point. Installation was fairly straightforward, and the app works well. The end result of the installation is barely visible. I can only see one little bit of wire above the back windshield. Everywhere else, I was able to tuck the wire into trim easily using the thoughtfully included spudger tool. Overall, I'm very happy! I do have some specific suggestions for others on installation: 1) Installation of the cameras involves attaching clear electrostatic sheets to the front and rear windshields, and then sticking the cameras to the sheets. It's tricky to get them on without bubbles. If there are bubbles, just poke them with a needle. Don't try to push them out or reposition the sheet, as it makes the sheet cloudy. 2) Once you've attached a camera to the sheet, it is not coming off the sheet again. Be very careful when you put it on. However, the sheet can pull off the window if you pull sideways on the wire while pushing the wire into trim. I learned that the hard way. 3) Be sure that the camera lens doesn't have to see through the electrostatic sheet. That's easy for the front camera, because it's a lot wider. But the rear camera really needs to be placed right at the side edge of the sheet so that it only looks through the rear windshield. The sheet interferes with image quality. 4) I asked for the optional hardwire kit, and installed it into a 2019 Subaru Ascent. I used fuse #9 for the ACC connection, and #32 for the B+ (always on) connection. I also needed to buy separate fuse taps because the hardwire kit uses mini fuses, and the Ascent uses mini low profile fuses. I just cut off the attached mini fuses and crimped the wires into the fuse taps. 5) I chose to position the front camera so that it's hidden by the rear view mirror. This is because the built-in screen is so tiny that it's not really useful while driving. All settings are made with the app, and the video is also much easier to see on my phone by connecting with the app via Wifi. I also put black electrical tape over the screen because I was afraid a reflection might interfere with the EyeSight cameras of the car. 6) I positioned the rear camera upside-down, so that it would block less of the rear windshield. The rear camera can be flipped horizontally or vertically in the app, so you have more flexibility with how you mount it. 7) Both cameras together use about 400MB of storage space per minute. That means that the included 64 GB SD card will only be able to record about 2.5 hrs of video before it loops around and videos start getting overwritten. If you want to retain video for longer, be sure to buy a bigger micro SD card.

The GKU Dash Cam is a great camera that does everything it needs to. The camera quality is great for both front and rear, with wide FOV for both cameras. Overall, all features work well and it gives me piece of mind when driving on the road. Pros: - Video Quality: The 4K front and 2.5K rear resolution deliver exceptional clarity. - Rear Camera Cable Length: The rear camera wire is more than adequate for reaching the back of my Ford Escape, I've had other dash cams which fell short in this area. - User-Friendly Design: Mounting and adjusting the camera is a breeze. The setup is straightforward, and the camera stays securely in place. The SD card slot is easily accessible so I don't even need to disconnect the camera before extracting the SD card, which you probably will do since the app is quite slow to download videos. - GPS Speed Tracking: The GPS tracking feature is reliable and accurate Cons: - Companion App: While the app works fine, it can be slow when downloading videos directly from the camera. It's not a dealbreaker, but it does require some patience. Updating settings is also slow, but since you won't need to access it that often its not really an issue.

I purchased the GKU D900 Dashcam in January 2025 and have now been using it for approximately five weeks. So far, it has worked perfectly and exceeded my expectations. The reason I bought it was that my brother was hit by a car, and the driver falsely blamed him. With no witnesses present, my brother would have had to pay for the substantial repair costs—if he hadn’t had a dashcam. When the other driver realised there was video evidence proving my brother’s case, he quickly changed his mind and paid for the repairs without dispute. That incident alone convinced me to install a dashcam, and I’m glad I chose the GKU D900. Pros: ✔ Great build quality ✔ Straightforward installation ✔ All necessary accessories included (except the hardwire kit, which is only needed for parking mode) ✔ Excellent customer service ✔ Clear, easy-to-follow instruction booklet ✔ High-quality installation videos available on YouTube ✔ Car wire trim tool included ✔ User-friendly GKU app ✔ Excellent camera image quality Cons: ❌ None Installation Experience: Installation was seamless, though I do have a fairly good level of technical knowledge. A key tip during setup: Download the GKU app and turn off your home Wi-Fi, cellular data, and Bluetooth when connecting the dashcam. Mounting & Cable Management: • The 3M adhesives provided an excellent bond, so I didn’t need to use the electrostatic stickers. • Cable routing was easy in my 2024 Honda Civic, with the included wire trim tool proving to be very useful. • I used Velcro fasteners and Velcro tape for extra tidy cable management of the long rear dashcam cable. Outstanding Customer Service: I contacted GKU customer service several times regarding the availability of the hardwire kit and was very impressed. • My emails were answered promptly, with clear and helpful responses. • Their customer support is exceptional, standing apart from the unfortunate trend of companies “ghosting” customers after a purchase. Useful Tips: • Position the rear dashcam within range of your rear windscreen wiper for better visibility in poor weather. • Regularly clear locked videos from your microSD card to prevent running out of storage. • Pressing the function button once on the front dashcam saves a video to prevent it from being overwritten. • Keep the instruction booklet in your glove box so you don’t misplace it. • Be careful when removing the microSD card—do it at a table before installation to avoid losing it in your car. Final Verdict: I have no hesitation recommending the GKU D900 Dashcam. If you’re looking for a reliable, high-quality dashcam, I don’t think you’ll be disappointed! Would I buy it again? Absolutely.

Compatta, pressoché invisibile, se posizionata dietro specchietto retrovisore interno destro, ottima qualità di fabbricazione. Punti di forza : installazione molto semplice,GPS e wifi 5G incorporati, quindi senza cavi volanti in auto, immagini registrate senza rallentamenti, molto nitida la 4k ant. così come la post. a 2.5. Monitoraggio H24 molto utile (necessita di cavo rigido Hardwire). Sensore G Sony che rileva urti salvando il video dell'accaduto. App dedicata che vi solleva da continui aggiustamenti, fa tutto lei, voi dovete solo guidare con prudenza, sempre. Al momento non trovo difetti, vedrò nel tempo, ad oggi sensazionale rapporto qualità/prezzo e un supporto clienti di un' efficienza mai vista, per quanto mi riguarda. Per queste caratteristiche consiglio il prodotto e spero di esservi stato utile nella scelta. Grazie per l' attenzione.

Die Dashcam GUK D900 überzeugt in allen Aspekten und bietet eine hervorragende Bildqualität. Sowohl bei Tageslicht als auch bei Nacht liefert sie scharfe Aufnahmen, und die Nachtsichtfunktion funktioniert gut. Die Einrichtung war kinderleicht, und die Bedienung über das intuitive Menü sowie die App ist extrem benutzerfreundlich. Besonders die automatische Aufnahme bei Kollisionserkennung und der Parkmodus erhöhen die Sicherheit. Auch die Verarbeitung der Kamera ist hochwertig, und das kompakte, unauffällige Design fügt sich perfekt ins Fahrzeug ein. Trotz der vielen Funktionen bleibt die Kamera dezent im Hintergrund. In puncto Zuverlässigkeit gibt es nichts zu bemängeln – die Kamera arbeitet stabil und ohne Probleme. Der Bewegungssensor und andere Zusatzfeatures funktionieren einwandfrei. Lieferumfang: - Ausreichend und umfangreich - die Kamera kann ohne weiteres Werkzeug montiert werden und ist dank der mitgelieferten Speicherkarte sofort startklar - Es sind alle notwendigen Befestigungskleber dabei und auch noch separate für die Frontkamera, falls man eine falsche Stelle zur Montage ausgewählt hatte. - Es ist ein Montagewerkzeug dabei, um die Kabel hinter der Verkleidung oder Gummidichtungen zu verstecken. - Auch sind Klebebefestigungen für Stellen dabei, an denen die Kabel nicht versteckt werden können. Installation im Auto: - Die Kabellängen sind ausreichend für normale Autos, bei großen Kombis (Passat, Mondeo, Oktavia) bin ich mir da nicht so sicher, ob die Kabel zur Heckkamera lang genug sind. - Die Aufkleber halten einwandfrei, was sich mir nur nicht ganz erschlossen hat ist, dass es für die Frontkamera zwei Ersatzklebepads gibt, aber nicht für die Heckkamera. - Bei der Heckkamera bin ich bei der Installation auf das Problem gestoßen, dass die Linse direkt an der Scheibe anliegt und die Heckkamera damit etwas von der Scheibe wegdrückt. Bei weniger senkrecht stehenden Heckscheiben sollte das aber kein großes Problem sein. - großes Plus ist, dass die Frontkamera abgenommen werden kann, das hatte ich erst bei der Montage durch Zufall gesehen. Kamerabedienung: - Die Verbindung mit der App funktioniert reibungslos - Leider kann die Heckkamera nicht gedreht werden, nach der Installation hatte ich festgestellt, dass ich die Heckkamera auf dem Kopf montiert habe, das ist beim Sichten der Videos etwas nervig, aber behebbar. Alles in allem eine anständige Kamera, die sich gut bedienen lässt und auch nicht klobig in den Scheiben die Sicht einschränkt. Die Videoqualität ist gut, allerdings nachts ist die Erkennbarkeit der Kennzeichen trotz HDR nicht ideal. Auch wäre es praktisch HDR nachts einschalten und tagsüber ausschalten zu können, um ideale Lichtverhältnisse in den Videos zu haben.
